This week’s episode of Raw is set to build momentum for the upcoming Night of Champions event later this month. On last week’s show, Sami Zayn and Roxanne Perez secured their spots in the semi-finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament. Now, WWE Official Adam Pearce has revealed a stacked lineup of matches and segments for this week that promises to take the Night of Champions hype to the next level.
Taking to X, Adam Pearce announced that Becky Lynch will come face-to-face with former Women’s Champion Bayley in response to last week’s attack. Additionally, Liv Morgan is set to address her actions against Nikki Bella as she steps into the ring against Kairi Sane. On top of that, the first-round matches of the King and Queen of the Ring tournament will continue, with the final spots in the semi-finals on the line.

Sheamus, Bronson Reed, Rusev, and former World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso will clash in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. On the women’s side, Stephanie Vaquer, Ivy Nile, Asuka, and Raquel Rodriguez will battle it out for a chance to face Alexa Bliss in the Queen of the Ring semi-finals on SmackDown. With major implications for both tournaments, these matches could shape the future of WWE Raw.
This week’s episode of Raw will take place at the Resch Arena in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In addition to the advertised matches, appearances are expected from Seth Rollins and his faction members—Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. CM Punk is also likely to address his ongoing issues with John Cena. Meanwhile, fans will be keeping a close eye on R-Truth and his usual antics.
Goldberg is set to return to this week’s Raw, as per some reports
Goldberg has been rumored to compete in his final match sometime this year. He was initially expected to return during the Road to WrestleMania in March, but health-related issues caused a delay. However, recent reports suggest that the WWE Hall of Famer could be making his long-awaited return on this week’s episode of Raw.

According to BodySlam.net, the WCW icon is slated to return on Raw in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is reportedly set to kick off his long-awaited feud with Gunther, which could potentially lead to a clash for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions later this month.
The Hall of Famer and The Ring General had a hard-hitting confrontation at Bad Blood last year, sparking rumors of a potential showdown. Since then, speculation has continued to grow, and with this week’s Raw, WWE has the perfect opportunity to reignite their heated rivalry.
Asuka will also compete in her first match on Raw since May 2023
WWE announced last week on Raw that Asuka will make her in-ring return this week. She’s set to compete in the Queen of the Ring tournament, aiming to secure a spot in the semi-finals against her former friend Alexa Bliss on SmackDown.

The Empress of Tomorrow last competed in WWE at Backlash 2023 in France, where she teamed up with Kairi Sane to face Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Unfortunately, Asuka suffered a torn ACL during that match, forcing her to take time off to recover from the injury.
