The new era of WWE has certainly started under Triple H, as he looks to shape things up after WrestleMania XL. With the debuts of new superstars and the several returns of injured stars, things have gotten more exciting in WWE. As such, the promotion announced the dates for the 2024 Draft on Raw.

Triple H took to X and revealed that after an unbelievable 2-night extravaganza of WrestleMania XL, the Draft would take place to shake things up. The event is scheduled to occur on SmackDown on April 26, followed by another round on the April 29 edition of Raw. Every member of the roster, including the newly crowned world champions Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest are eligible for the Draft.

Some big names that could potentially be available for the draft are Jade Cargill and Andrade, who recently returned to WWE. NXT stars like Tiffany Stratton, Bron Breakker, and Carmelo Hayes could also be top choices for the GMs of both brands. Meanwhile, there is always a possibility of two former rivals landing on the same brand, and more importantly, a faction could fall apart.

There were some unexpected brand switches in last year’s WWE Draft, which changed the overall landscape for the year. The two factions, The Judgment Day and The Bloodline, asserted their dominance on Raw and SmackDown, respectively. Stars like LA Knight and Chad Gable reached new heights and became fan favorites on their brands. It will be interesting to see what this year’s Draft has in store for the WWE Universe.

Triple H speaks on returning back to wrestling for one more match

Triple H had to permanently retire from in-ring competition due to a serious cardiac event. After seeing The Rock return and battle it out in the ring, he was asked if he ever felt like doing the same. Hunter had a very clear answer to this question.

The Game made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and expressed how much he loved being in charge of creative. Upon asking if he wanted to step into the ring again, Hunter said he does not regret the decision to retire from professional wrestling at all. The 14-time world champion stated that he feels proud to watch the young superstars find success.

I don't want to slap anybody in the mouth anymore. It's a funny thing about doing this now… I've always enjoyed the behind-the-scenes aspect of creative and all that other stuff. Competing in it was fun, but I almost enjoyed this side more. Helping these guys and girls, watching them go out there and succeed.
