“Where tf am I?” Former WWE Superstar Paige is upset over her exclusion from WWE 2K22 roster

Paige is one of the most well-known female wrestlers in the history of the company. She holds the distinction of being the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion as well as a two-time WWE Diva’s Champion. Paige has accomplished a lot in her short life, despite the fact that her WWE career was cruelly cut short due to neck problems.
Despite the fact that Paige hasn’t competed in WWE in years, she is still under contract with the business and has continued to appear in video games as a playable character, most recently in WWE 2K20. Many expected Paige would be playable in WWE 2K22 because she was constantly featured on WWE video game rosters in the years following her injuries, but that does not appear to be the case.
Paige took it to Twitter to express her disappointment
Paige resorted to Twitter to criticise WWE 2K22 for leaving her off the roster. This elicited a comment from Alundra Blayze (also known as Madusa), a legendary women’s wrestler who isn’t depicted in the game. “I mean, why did I sign the legend deal in the first place?” Blayze enquired on the official Twitter account for WWE games.
Paige went on to follow her initial tweet with a list of other female wrestlers who aren’t expected to be in WWE 2K22. Zelina Vega, who is currently wrestling as Queen Zelina and is due to compete in a match at WrestleMania 38, and Doudrop, who faced Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble and competed in the most recent Elimination Chamber match, did not make the cut. Brie and Nikki Bella, better known as The Bella Twins, are also not in the lineup.
Some of the exclusions are understandable. Doudrop and Zelina were most likely not on the main WWE roster when the WWE 2K22 roster was decided. That would explain why, although being active contenders, they aren’t on the WWE 2K22 roster, yet certain wrestlers who aren’t even in WWE anymore and instead compete for rival company AEW are accessible to play as in the new game.
In her follow-up tweet, Paige inquires about a “part 2” roster, and it’s very feasible that some of these exclusions will be included in WWE 2K22 as DLC. At least five DLC packs for WWE 2K22 are planned, with musician Machine Gun Kelly confirmed for one and speculations pointing to Ronda Rousey as DLC as well. It’ll be interesting to see what the WWE 2K22 DLC has in store, especially if it includes missing talents like Paige.
