WWE Royal Rumble 2022 saw Paul Heyman betray Brock Lesnar and once again align with his Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. Lesnar was battling Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship when Roman Reigns attacked the Beast and costed him the WWE Championship. Paul Heyman who helped Reigns with the attack then went back with Reigns betraying his client.
Heyman explained why he betrayed Lesnar at Royal Rumble 2022 and said that he initially thought Roman Reigns must be protected from Brock Lesnar when the Universal Champion fired his special counsel. Heyman continued and said that after Roman Reigns’ attack on the Beast, he understood that the GOAT will always slay the BEAST.
Heyman also called Lesnar stupid multiple times and then said that Brock Lesnar looed like a shmuck with that ponytail and beard and now he also acted like a shmuck with that stupid smile on his face. Heyman said that it was a stupid idea to make it a champion vs champion match at WrestleMania and that the Beast was a fool.
Brock Lesnar will battle Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 38
Brock Lesnar won the Men’s Royal Rumble match in an interesting fashion and soon announced Roman Reigns as his opponent for WrestleMania 38. But the Beast wanted the match to be a champion vs champion match and so challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship.
The Beast will now enter the unforgiving Elimination Chamber along with top superstars like Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, AJ Styles. Riddle, and Austin Theory and will challenge the Almighty Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship.
