“Brock Lesnar does not leave MSG as the WWE Champion,” Paul Heyman reveals his plans for the Beast Incarnate

“Brock Lesnar does not leave MSG as the WWE Champion,” Paul Heyman reveals his plans for the Beast Incarnate

The Beast Incarnate

Brock Lesnar is on a dream run since he returned to WWE at Summerslam 2021. He immediately kicked off the Universal Championship feud against Roman Reigns. The two Superstars collided at Crown Jewel – where the Tribal Chief managed to retain his title after interferences from Paul Heyman and The Usos.

But some last minute changes to the Day 1 card led to the Beast Incarnate being added to the WWE Championship match. He won the title in a Fatal 5-Way match. But he lost the title within a month. Lesnar had collided against Bobby Lashley in a dream match at the Royal Rumble. But Lashley managed to win the title after Reigns interfered during the match.

An angry Brock Lesnar entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match. With the win he decided to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal title at Wrestlemania 38. But he also managed to win the WWE Championship once again at Elimination Chamber. Since then, Wrestlemania Sunday main event is being advertised as a Champion vs Champion Title Unification match.

There is still no clarity on whether Brock Lesnar will be walking in as a Champion at Wrestlemania 38. He is scheduled to defend his title before the Showcase of Immortals at a show in the Madison Square Garden. This match was announced by Paul Heyman, who recently revealed on the Battleground podcast that this is his way of ensuring Lesnar loses the title.

We do everything in our power and influence to make sure that Brock Lesnar does not leave Madison Square Garden as the WWE Champion. I don’t like the concept of Title vs Title. I don’t like the concept of Winner Take All. In my opinion, Roman is already the end-all, be-all,” mentioned Heyman.

The WWE Championship is set to be on the line at the Madison Square Garden. But Brock Lesnar’s opponent is yet to be revealed. Initially, Bobby Lashley was scheduled to be a part of the match. But he is out with a legitimate injury and had to be removed from the match.

There have been reports that Lashley is trying hard to get medically cleared. He wants to perform at MSG as well as Wrestlemania 38. But this currently doesn’t seem possible. Instead of him, another Superstar like Seth Rollins could show up at MSG to challenge Lesnar.
