“Just an absolutely awful name”- Wrestling fans express massive disappointment over reports of WWE planning a BIZZARE name change for The Judgment Day
Wrestling fans expressed shock over the current reports of changing The Judgment Day faction's name that surfaced online.
The new Judgment Day (via WWE)
SummerSlam 2024 will be remembered as the end of The Judgment Day. Dominik Mysterio turned on Rhea Ripley and helped Liv Morgan retain her Women’s World Title, shocking the wrestling world. But “Dirty” Dom wasn’t the only one to betray his family, as Finn Balor stabbed his dear friend Damian Priest in the back, which cost him his world title match against Gunther.
The other Judgment Day members, Carlito and JD McDonagh, made it clear that they were joining Finn Balor. The new group now consists of Balor, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and two other stars, completely ousting The Terror Twins. Since it’s an entirely new faction, WWE is planning to change its name.
According to a report from WrestleVotes, the leading candidate appears to be “Street Trash.” The proposed name was deemed inappropriate for obvious reasons. The term originated from the exchanges between Damian Priest and Gunther during their rivalry. The Ring General referred to the former World Heavyweight Champion and the entire Judgment Day as “street trash.”
On the latest episode of Raw, the new Judgment Day made the Archer of Infamy their target and attacked him during his match against McDonagh. The numbers game was against Priest until Rhea Ripley came to his rescue, exacting some revenge on Liv Morgan.
