Predicting Triple H’s “major announcement” on WWE Preview Special on 1/4/24

WWE has entered a new year, which has brought new surprises. Sometimes fans may like these surprises, while other times they might not meet expectations. On the Day 1 edition of Raw, WWE advertised an upcoming Network special on January 1. Moreover, Triple H is expected to make a huge announcement during the show.

This would be the second announcement of the year made by the CCO after seemingly confirming last week’s rumor as well. That rumor turned out to be true, as The Rock made an appearance on Day 1. As a result, the WWE Universe always stays anticipated for these announcements, wondering what they could be. 

The upcoming advertised program will be filled with some of the company’s top stars, like CM Punk and Rhea Ripley. Here are the 3 possible announcements that fans might see the Game bring up in the Preview Special episode. 

3.WrestleMania 41 venue announcement

Now that WrestleMania 40 is close and will be happening in Philadelphia, Triple H might give fans the very first sneak peek of the next Showcase of Immortals. Rumors are that it might be held at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, next April. 

Previously, The Greatest Of All Time John Cena made a surprise appearance at Money In the Bank and teased the fans that the Show of Shows would be hosted in London. Therefore, it can mark the first time in more than forty years that WrestleMania might be organized there. However, the chances of that happening are too low.

2. Announcement of another International Premium Live Event

In the past few years, WWE has organized numerous Premium Live Events outside the United States. It was a great idea for the company to let other countries host the events. The fans and the atmosphere in the arenas were unforgettable at PLEs such as Backlash and Money in the Bank.

There are already some great PLEs lined up outside of the United States in 2024. The Elimination Chamber PLE will take place in Australia, while The Bash in Berlin PLE will take place in Germany. Many fans are speculating that the announcement could be regarding another PLE that would be hosted outside of the U.S.

1. Hall of Fame 2024 inductee announcement

WWE will organize its grandest show, WrestleMania 40, on the 6th and 7th of April 2023. A night before WrestleMania is special for the legends as their careers get immortalized in the prestigious Hall of Fame. So, there is a possibility that Hunter could announce some marquee Hall of Fame inductees on the Preview Special show. 

Some of the most prominent names are legends like Dave Bautista and the late Bray Wyatt who can be announced as marquee HOF inductees. Dave was scheduled to be inducted in 2020, but the ceremony was canceled. Due to the unfortunate demise of Wyatt in 2023, it would be nice for the fans to witness Windham Rotunda get his flowers for his contribution to the sport.
