WWE president reveals possible host city for WrestleMania 41
Minnesota was initially the frontrunner to host next year's WrestleMania.

After the success of WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, WWE has already started preparations for next year’s Showcase of Immortals. However, the promotion hasn’t confirmed the 2025 event’s venue and city. As such, WWE president Nick Khan addressed the state of WrestleMania 41, including the possible host city.
As per The Sporting Tribune’s Arash Markazi, Khan seemingly revealed that the host for the event isn’t finalized as of now. However, he did specify that WrestleMania wouldn’t take place in an outdoor east-cost stadium again. Furthermore, the biggest PLE of the year won’t be going head-to-head with the NCAA Final Four. Khan went on to mention that Las Vegas is one of the cities in the running to host WrestleMania 41.
This came as a surprise to many, as for months, rumors suggested that Minnesota was the favorite and that a deal was close. In fact, fans expected WWE to announce the location during this year’s WrestleMania weekend. Nick Khan also claimed that the big four PLEs would only take place in the U.S. for the foreseeable future.
Despite that, WWE will continue to hold ‘B-level’ events internationally. The Stamford-based promotion will be hosting its upcoming PLE, Backlash, in France. Evidently, fans have welcomed the idea of international shows as it has improved the quality of the overall product as well.
The Rock has confirmed his status for WrestleMania 41
Without a doubt, The Rock was instrumental in the success of WrestleMania 40. After fans revolted against the idea of him stealing Cody Rhodes‘ position, The Great One turned heel for the first time since 2003. From then on, he joined The Bloodline and initiated the ‘Final Boss’ persona. In the Night 1 main event, he teamed with Roman Reigns to defeat Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
The next night on Raw, Rocky told the new Undisputed WWE Champion that he was coming for him. Days later, he released a video expressing his gratitude to all the participants in the main event. At the end, The Brahma Bull revealed that he would be back for next year’s WrestleMania.
This kicked off speculation online regarding who The Rock would face. The most obvious choice would be a rivalry with his cousin. However, a report circulated stating that the TKO executive now prefers to face Cody Rhodes instead. Needless to say, only time will tell who Rocky decides to square off against.
