The United States Championship will be defended in a triple threat match at Extreme Rules 2021. Damian Priest will defend the championship against Sheamus and Jeff hardy and the WWE Universe have been expecting a lot from the high profile match.
This all started at Summerslam where Damian Priest defeated Sheamus to become the new United States Champion. This was followed by Sheamus continuing his feud with Priest and then defeating Drew McIntyre to become the no. 1 contender for the championship.
Jeff Hardy on the other hand wanted an opportunity for the US championship and so defeated Sheamus to get added in the match. So, the match was then converted into a triple threat match which is highly anticipated for Extreme Rules. The WWE Universe also expected that a stipulation could be added to the match but now that it is a triple threat match, no other stipulation is needed.
Who will come out of Extreme Rules 2021 as the United States Champion?
The WWE Universe already knows that there is no chance Sheamus will get the United States Championship match. The last thing that could happen is Sheamus coming out with the championship. The next thing that could happen is that Jeff Hardy wins the United States Championship and cherish some memorable moments while his career’s end is on the horizon.
The thing that will likely happen at Extreme Rules 2021 is that Priest pins Sheamus to retain the United States Championship and continues to dominate the mid-card of Raw. Moving forward, Priest could continue to feud with Jeff Hardy and at some point of time, Hardy could become the United States Champion.
