WWE Raw results – 12/04/2021 (Firefly Fun House returns, Charlotte Flair returns)

McIntyre, Strowman and Orton
The show kicked off with a video of WWE Champion Bobby Lashley from earlier. The jobbers from WWE roster are seen congratulating Lashley. Riddle scooted up to him and demanded a match. Lashley said that he went to battle with Drew McIntyre and just wanted to celebrate.
But Riddle insisted and Lashley shoved him down. He promised to show Riddle that he is a loser and Lashley was a winner.
Bobby Lashley def. Riddle
As Riddle made his entrance, Lashley attacked Riddle and viciously threw him into the barricade. Lashley threw him down again before scooping him up and drove his head into the ring post.
Lashley got in the ring, and a hurt Riddle continued to challenge him. The bell rang, and Lashley took Riddle down. Lashley shouldered him in the corner and hit a neckbreaker. He scooped Riddle up and hit a one-handed delayed vertical suplex.
Lashley went outside and grabbed Riddle’s scooter. Lashley then threw it away.As he got in the ring Riddle attacked him. Lashley quickly hit a scoop slam and threw Riddle out of the ring. Lashley went outside and threw him over the barricade.
Riddle barely beat the count-out. Lashley took Riddle and choked him on the ropes before hitting a crossface forearm. Riddle fought up again and punched at Lashley, but Lashley simply clotheslined him down.
Lashley sent Riddle into the ropes and went for a one-armed spinebuster, but Riddle got out. Riddle punched and kicked away at Lashley before stunning him with a kick. Riddle went for a Floating Bro, but Lashley avoided it and applied the Hurt Lock for the submission.
The Viking Raiders def. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander
Ivar started against Cedric Alexander. He simply threw Alexander to the corner andpunched him down. Erik tagged in. Ivar hit a scoop slam on Alexander, and Erik scoop slammed Ivar onto Alexander.
Alexander chop blocked Erik before Benjamin kicked him. Benjamin hit a pair of scoop slams on Erik and clubbed the back. Alexander continued to punch away at Erik before sending him to the ropes.
Benjamin quickly hit an Olympic Slam for a near fall. Alexander tagged in and elbowed Erik. Erik quickly flipped Alexander over and kneed him in the face. Ivar followed up with a leaping cross-body block and a seated senton.
Ivar cartwheeled around an attack from Benjamin and Alexander and clotheslined them down. Erik slammed Ivar into Benjamin. Erik tagged in, and they hit the Viking Experience on Alexander for the win.
Charlotte Flair’s segment
Flair said that it was the night after Wrestlemania and she should’ve been talking about what she did last night at Mania. The ring is sacred to her family. She challenged Asuka for the Championship but she never responded. Ripley stepped up and won the title. Now they have a rematch too.
She said that Karma was a bi*** and she is the bi***. But she never steals opportunities but creates them. She is the new Charlotte Flair. She wont apologize for being good. Flair told everyone to enjoy the match that she should’ve been in.
Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka (No Contest)
This was a rematch from last night’s WrestleMania 37. Asuka put Ripley in the corner and forearmed away at her. Ripley fought out and pushed Asuka to the opposite corner. Asuka countered a facebuster into a roll-up.
Asuka went for a cross arm breaker, but Ripley quickly got to the bottom rope. Ripley quickly kicked and elbowed her down. Ripley positioned Asuka on the top rope and went for a back superplex, but Asuka fought back.
Asuka hit a knee to the face and a German Suplex. Asuka connected with a hip attack. Ripley threw her off, but Asuka kicked her in the head and took her down with a spin kick. Asuka hit a sliding knee to the head.
Ripley applied the Prism Shift. Asuka got to the ropes. Asuka went for an arm bar, but Ripley got out. Asuka then applied an Asuka Lock, but Ripley fought out. Ripley hit an electric chair slam for a near fall. They rolled to the apron. Asuka hit a hip attack against the ring post followed by a DDT on the apron.
Charlotte Flair attacked them at ringside. Flair hit Asuka with a fallway slam and a kick to the face for Ripley. Flair mocked them and walked off.
Alexa’s Playground
Bliss was swinging on her swing backstage. She said Wrestlemania was fun and wanted to explain what she did. Once upon a time there was a little girl, who was lost until she was rescued by the darkness. The darkness protected, nurtured and taught her.
But the darkness went away when The Fiend was burnt. Bliss wondered whether the little girl ever needed the darkness. Maybe she realized that she could do everything on her own. She has unlocked something really evil – a puppet names Lily. It was an Alexa Bliss/Fiend mock up. She sad the fun was just getting started.
Miz TV with special guest Maryse
The Miz and John Morrison were in the ring with Maryse. Miz welcomed to Miz TV and said no matter what happened at WrestleMania, Miz was still the most talked about entertainer in entertainment.
Maryse then promoted the new season of Miz & Mrs premieres after Raw. Morrison asked if he could have a spin off: Miz, Mrs, and Morrison. It could be called MMM.
Miz said he took Bad Bunny from a celebrity to a WWE Superstar. Miz showed some highlights from the match and said he helped Bad Bunny get there. Damian Priest came out to the stage.
Priest was Bad Bunny’s partner and won’t take credit for what he did. Bad Bunny put the work in. Miz is just trying to save face over being beaten by Bad Bunny. Miz said Priest’s name isn’t even in the headlines. Priest was only there because he was jealous.
If Priest wanted Miz’ star power to rub off on him, he’ll challenge him later tonight. Morrison said he was just going to make the challenge. They argued over who should face Priest, but Maryse cut them off and said they could both challenge
The Miz and John Morrison def. Damian Priest (Handicap match)
The Miz was arguing about being in his suit still. Priest quickly punched him down and big booted Morrison to the floor. Miz quickly fought back at Priest and tagged Morrison in. Miz catapulted Priest into Morrison’s forearm.
Priest fought up, but Morrison powered him to the corner with a shoulder. Miz tagged back in, but Priest clapped Morrison’s ears and avoided a corner clothesline from Miz. Priest hit a pair of running back elbows on Miz and Morrison. Priest then hit Morrison with a Broken Arrow.
Morrison elbowed Priest. Miz blind tagged in before Priest hit Morrison with Hit the Lights. Priest cut Miz off andwent for Hit the Lights, but Maryse pulled Miz away. Miz’ pants got ripped with the exchange. A pants-less Miz rolled Priest up and put the feet on the ropes for the win.
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler def. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke
Nia Jax started against Dana Brooke. Jax powered Brooke to the corner and threw her across the ring. Jax avalanched Brooke and choked her in the corner. Shayna Baszler tagged in and kneed Brooke in the face.
Baszler applied a stretch muffler. Baszler slammed Brooke into the corner and tagged Jax in. Jax applied a chin lock. Mandy Rose blind tagged in as Baszler came in. Rose hit a missile dropkick and two clotheslines.
Rose hit a flapjack on Baszler and slammed her into the corner. Rose went for a Bed of Roses, but Baszler got out and applied a Kirifuda Clutch. Rose got out of the ring. Jax tagged in and tripped getting off the apron. Rose laughed at Jax and ran away. Rose and Brooke got counted out.
WWE Championship segment
MVP was in the ring with a message from the Hurt Business. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will be joining them shortly. Drew McIntyre is a warrior of the highest order, but he took his eye off the ball for one second, which is where he wound up. It was ok to be number two when Lashley is number one.
We watched Drew McIntyre pass out unconscious. McIntyre couldn’t withstand the pressure of the Hurt Lock. Who can withstand it? No one. Absolutely no one.
Drew McIntyre came out to the stage and asked how MVP would know how he’s feeling. McIntyre said MVP could keep kissing Bobby Lashley’s a**. One day, he’ll get his rematch and hit him with a Claymore. Then he’ll have to look up at new WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. MVP said nothing around here is given. It’s all earned.
Braun Strowman’s music hit, and the Monster Among Men came out to the ring. Strowman had a black eye. MVP said McIntyre needed to get to the back of the line. Strowman said MVP was right. Strowman got in McIntyre’s face.
Randy Orton made his way out, and MVP was furious. Orton said he was done with The Fiend and Alexa Bliss. No more mind games. Now Orton could go back to being the Legend Killer and Apex Predator. Most importantly, he could go back to being WWE Champion once again.
WWE Official Adam Pearce came out to the stage. Pearce said McIntyre, Strowman, and Orton will face in a triple threat match tonight. The winner will face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash.
The New Day def. Elias and Jaxson Ryker
The New Day quickly knocked Ryker out of the ring before sending Elias out. The New Day then hit stereo somersault sentons. Ryker hit a spinebuster on Woods before punching away at him.
Woods fought up, but Elias sent him to the ropes. Ryker slammed Woods. Elias tagged in and hit a sliding knee for a two count. Elias hit Woods with a suplex onto Ryker’s knee. Ryker applied a camel clutch to Woods, but Woods got out with a jawbreaker. Woods flipped through a back suplex and hit an enzuigiri.
Kingston hit a springboard chop to Elias before taking Ryker down. Woods then hit a baseball slide. Elias got Kingston up in the electric chair. Kingston slid out and Woods tagged in. Kingston hit Elias with a backbreaker, and Woods hit a top rope diving stomp for the win.
Firefly Fun House
Mercy the Buzzard, Huskus the Pig, Abby the Witch, and Ramblin’ Rabbit returned. They introduced Bray Wyatt, who was killed a few months ago. Wyatt happily came in and greeted the Fireflies. It felt good to be back in the Fun House with all his true friends.
Abby said she couldn’t stand that little b****. Wyatt said if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. Abby cursed, so Wyatt said, “Witches be wilin’.” Rabbit said he’ll miss Alexa Bliss, so Wyatt grabbed him angrily before giving him a kiss.
Wyatt said this could be a brand new start for them. It was a new season with brand new friends and a new Bray Wyatt. Wyatt said he felt reborn. Wyatt went around healing his puppets. HE shall return. No more clout chasing in this simulation. The Fun House will be big, bad, and strong. Wyatt waved goodbye.
Drew McIntyre def. Braun Strowman and Randy Orton
The winner will face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash. The bell rang and McIntyre went after Strowman. McIntyre turned towards Orton, but Orton rolled out of the ring.
Strowman attacked McIntyre and punched him down in the corner. Orton ran in, but Strowman grabbed him. McIntyre attacked Strowman and Orton joined in. McIntyre and Orton double suplexed Strowman.
Strowman went outside the ring for a Strowman Express shoulder tackle), but McIntyre threw steel steps into his face. Orton then hit McIntyre with a back suplex on the commentary table.
McIntyre and Orton double-teamed on Strowman. They knocked Strowman out of the ring. Orton thumbed McIntyre’s eyes and took him down. An angry McIntyre hit a pair of clotheslines on Orton and a pair of overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. Strowman ran in and big booted McIntyre before knocking Orton back.
Strowman clubbed Orton’s chest over the apron and grabbed the steel steps. Strowman then hit Orton and McIntyre with the steel steps. Strowman got Orton in the ring, but Orton kicked him coming in. Orton hit a draping DDT. He hit Strowman with an RKO. Orton covered, but McIntyre hit him with a Claymore Kick for the win.
MVP’s music hit and he came out to the stage with T-Bar and Mace. They hit McIntyre with a double-team chokeslam as the show ended.
