The so-called cryptic video teasers that were posted on WWE’s official account on X over the past few days have finally seen the light of day. On Tuesday, the company released its latest video package hyping WrestleMania 42. The pop-culture extravaganza is returning to Las Vegas for the second straight year after having shattered previous financial metrics in 2025.

The vignette opens with Triple H narrating: “They say in Vegas, everyone’s got a tell. A blink. A breath. A moment that can’t be controlled.” It transitions into Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Brock Lesnar seated around a poker table with chips and cards in hand. The video also features solo cinematic shots of each superstar mentioned above with the WWE CCO and Paul Heyman sighted in the background.

It ends with a poker coin having 2026 labeled on it fizzling out after spinning over the WrestleMania logo and ‘Hunter’ saying, “It’s anyone’s game.” One could even hear Back in the Saddle from Aerosmith playing during the final credits of the video. If it ends up being the official theme song for The Showcase of the Immortals in 2026, it’ll scrap a five-year streak of The Weeknd.

The fans are already excited about rock music making its return for WrestleMania after having remotely become extinct. The combo tickets for the two-night wrestling spectacle in Sin City are up for sale now. As of February 2025, WrestleMania 42 was set to emanate from New Orleans, as announced by The Rock on SmackDown.

By the onset of May, a decision was made to relocate WWE’s biggest event to where it was held this year—Las Vegas. The company officials landed on this call, as they were hopeful of replicating the success WrestleMania 41 had in terms of setting a new gate record, unprecedented viewership, and 124,693 fans attending the show over two nights.

Brock Lesnar has been called out for a WrestleMania 42 match

While there are currently no definite-looking feuds one could bet their money on to make the cut for WrestleMania 42, how about renewing an old one? WWE’s 7-foot-3-tall giant Omos recently called out Brock Lesnar for their rematch to happen at the Grandest Stage of Them All in Las Vegas. They locked horns at WrestleMania 39 in a match that was allegedly added to the card upon Vince McMahon‘s behest.

Though the fans slammed it at first by arguing that WWE should’ve let ‘The Beast’ chase Gunther back then, they were pleasantly surprised by what Omos and Lesnar were able to squeeze out of their short bout. The story revolved around Lesnar trying to mount a comeback after being rarely miniaturized in size by ‘The Nigerian Giant’. The SoFi stadium came unglued after the 10-time world champion started hitting German Suplexes on his opponent.

Lesnar lifting Omos up for an F-5 received massive cheers from the crowd, and after he dropped the Nigerian wrestler with the finisher, it was game over. Speaking of the current whereabouts of both these men, Lesnar made his return to WWE after a two-year hiatus at SummerSlam. He had been away for such a lengthy timeframe after being identified in Janel Grant‘s lawsuit suing Vince McMahon and other WWE execs on grounds of s*x trafficking and physical abuse in January 2024.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ was able to come back after being cleared by WWE’s legal team. A report from Dave Meltzer has added that most of the company employees were kept in the dark about The Conqueror’s re-signing and eventual return. Moreover, some of the female staff members were quite unhappy with it, and one even used the term “disgusted,” though privately.

On the other hand, Omos hasn’t appeared on main roster programming since competing in the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. However, the 33-year-old made his WWE return at an NXT live event in early October against Lexis King. Omos has competed in independent promotions like NOAH and WWE’s sister promotion AAA in the meantime.
