Why did WWE release top NXT talent like Bronson Reed and Bobby Fish?
Though most of the releases made by WWE were due to cost cutting, the release of NXT superstars seems to be different. According to PWInsider, WWE has released these talented guys because of the reported change in the brand.
According to previous reports, WWE NXT is going to change its identity, logo, lighting, etc and will focus on younger talent. Here’s what PWInsider quoted:
“As Dave Scherer and I discussed, there has been lots of talk internally of major changes for the NXT brand including a new logo, new lighting, a focus on younger talents and a different format to the TV shows. This housecleaning tonight appears to be part of those changes.”
