WWE reportedly in works for bringing back EVOLUTION in 2023

WWE made history in 2018 by introducing the first ever Women PLE, Evolution. The premium live event was one of a kind and featured only matches from the female talent on the card. The event was a big success as it was considered a historical landmark in women’s wrestling and became a stalwart to look to for other promotions as well.

But, the company didn’t produce an all-woman show in the coming years which was being expected from the company. However, we are yet to witness another premium live event like its predecessor but it seems like the company has different priorities right now.

WWE Evolution in 2018
WWE is looking to bring back it’s historic PLE Evolution which happened in 2018 and was a huge success.

Without a doubt, women’s wrestling around the world has seen massive growth over the decade. From earlier being used only as eye-candies to get in viewers, female athletes are now given proper screen time with their independent storylines.

Not only in WWE but there’s a massive female talent across the globe when it comes to professional wrestling and in no way they are less than any of the other talents on the roster.

However, premium live events like Evolution are the need of the hour to give a propelling boost to women’s wrestling around the world. Female talents like Ronda Rousey, Becky Lunch, Charlotte Flair, and many more have transcended to become one of the most popular faces in the wrestling world around the world.

And WWE is now planning to bring back their all-women premium live event Evolution by 2023 as per a report.

Xero News which is one of the most popular Twitter accounts regarding leaks and rumours of the company posted on Twitter – “Evolution 2 has been spoke about but right now is not considered “priority”. If it goes ahead will be summer or late 2023″.

It is clearly not on the priority as of now but the return of the popular PLE is reportedly in the works. Also in another tweet the same user has suggested that WWE is planning big things in 2023 especially for the Women’s division and also working on the next Mae Young Classic tournament as it looks to hire more and more fresh female talents around the globe.

In a tweet posted by the user, it states- “2023 will be a big year for the Women in WWE . WWE is expected to sign many new female wrestlers to boost up the rosters. Im also told NXT will be doing the Mae Young Classic Again next year. Along with Main roster doing QOTR and KOTR.”

Well, only time will tell what really awaits all the female talent in the company but it’s undeniable that the future definitely looks bright for them.
