WWE delivered an incredible debut episode of Raw on Netflix last night, featuring memorable moments, including the returns of John Cena and The Rock. However, one highly anticipated return that was missing was Becky Lynch‘s, leaving fans wondering why she was not there. A new report has now emerged, shedding light on the real reason behind The Man’s absence from Raw.
According to Cory Hays of Bodyslam, the former Women’s Champion was initially scheduled to return following Rhea Ripley’s victory on Raw. However, WWE rewrote the segment to add an unexpected twist. Instead of Becky Lynch, The Undertaker made his return, delivering a memorable moment with Mami during Raw’s Netflix debut.
However, it was also suggested that the return of ‘Big Time’ Beck is imminent. There are chances that she could make her comeback anytime this month. There is speculation that the former Women’s Champion could play a key role on the road to WrestleMania this year. She may even force her way into the Women’s World Championship picture.
The initial plan for the #RawOnNetflix premiere was for Becky Lynch to return within the Women’s World Championship Match – Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan.

There was speculation that Lynch’s return could have been delayed due to her involvement in the Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series, though the likelihood of this is low. WWE may have chosen to postpone her comeback for another night to keep last night’s episode fresh and exciting. It will be interesting to see how WWE plans The Man’s future from here on.
Becky Lynch to enter the Women’s Royal Rumble Match this year?
Becky Lynch’s absence from Raw’s Netflix debut has sparked multiple speculations. While some fans fear that The Man could be leaving WWE for good, others remain hopeful for her return in the near future. As a result, speculation is growing that the 37-year-old could make her comeback in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Last month, reports suggested that Lynch was among the favorites to win the 2025 Royal Rumble. Given this, WWE could strategically position her return during this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble for a surprising twist. By delaying her comeback for the Netflix debut, a Rumble return could make up for her absence.
‘Big Time’ Becks could win the Women’s Royal Rumble match for the second time in her career, securing her ticket to WrestleMania 41 after a seven-month absence. This victory would instantly elevate Becky Lynch to the top of the WWE hierarchy. It would also mark another significant achievement in her storied career.
