The 2024 WWE Draft finally concluded on the latest episode of Raw. While some superstars switched brands, a few NXT superstars were called up to the main roster. However, WWE is looking to mix things up just a little bit more.
According to a recent report from WrestleVotes, WWE was quite satisfied with the draft results, as they felt there was a perfect balance between both brands. However, a trade or two might take place following this week’s edition. Furthermore, it is believed that the trade will occur before next week’s Monday Night Raw, scheduled after Backlash on May 4th.

This year’s WWE Draft saw some interesting brand switches, as stars like Nia Jax, Chelsea Green, and Shinsuke Nakamura moved from Raw to SmackDown. Meanwhile, factions like Damage CTRL, L.W.O., and The Final Testament were drafted to the red brand. Furthermore, top NXT stars like Ilja Dragunov, Lyra Valkyria, and Dijak got called up to the main roster.
Speaking of trades, there have been many instances where a superstar was traded to another brand under different circumstances. Last year, Jey Uso left the Bloodline business and moved from SmackDown to Raw to start his journey as a singles superstar. In exchange, Nick Aldis brought Kevin Owens to the blue brand.
The WWE Universe predicted the possible trades following the WWE Draft report
Fans wasted no time predicting the trading picks after reports surfaced on social media. While some said it was necessary after a disappointing draft, others voiced their opinions on what should occur in the trade.

One fan hoped to see the wrestler-announcer couple, Ricochet and Samantha Irvin, together on SmackDown. Another fan joked about how the long-running rivalry would continue between L.W.O. and Legado Del Fantasma when one group got traded. Here are some of the top reactions from fans:
While some fans had a ridiculous request to see Cody Rhodes on NXT, others joked about how Nick Aldis would try hard to trade Chelsea back to Raw. One fan advised the blue brand to trade some superstars from Raw, as they had great star power. Overall, fans were excited to know which superstars would be affected by the trade.
