Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey are gearing up for a massive Championship match at Wrestlemania 38. The Queen and The Baddest Woman on the Planet will be colliding for the Smackdown Women’s Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania Saturday. The feud started taking shape at this year’s Royal Rumble.
Ronda Rousey made her surprise return to WWE during the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Flair had participated in the match although she was holding the Smackdown Women’s title. Interestingly they were the final two in the match and Rousey sent Flair over the top rope to win the match. With the win Rousey ensured herself a place in the Wrestlemania main event.
Initially it was being speculated that Rousey will be going after Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship. But Rousey surprise the WWE Universe when she announced that she will be going after Charlotte Flair for the Blue brand’s title, kicking off a massive feuds between two of the biggest Superstars in the company.
Considering the immense popularity both these fans have earned, the WWE Universe will surely be divided among them. In fact, one of the Superstars who works closely with them has already picked her favorite for this match. Rhea Ripley recently appeared on WWE’s The Bump where she predicted the Wrestlemania 38 winner.
“I hope that Rousey puts Charlotte in her place. I’m actually very excited for this because those two, when they go at it, they really go at it. I’ve stepped in the ring with Charlotte and I know she’s extremely tough and I haven’t beaten her in one-on-one competition,” mentioned Ripley.
Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey came face to face at Elimination Chamber

Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair have immense history together. They have battled each other quite often. But since this feud for the Smackdown Women’s Championship began they have been involved in a Tag Team rivalry. While Flair was teamed up with Sonya Deville, Rousey was paired with Naomi.
The two teams collided at the Elimination Chamber and Rousey was able to secure the win for her team. Since then, Naomi has moved on to form a team with Sasha Banks. The other three women have continued the rivalry. In fact, Rousey is all set to make her in-ring debut on Smackdown this week against Deville.
