Roman Reigns is the current face of WWE and has arguably been the most dominant champion of the modern era. He’ll face Brock Lesnar, another superstar, in a Winner Takes All battle for the WWE and Universal Championships at WrestleMania 38.
The Tribal Chief has expressed his opinion on who the greatest wrestler of all time is.
Roman Reigns names himself as the greatest superstar of all time
Roman Reigns was an American football player who intended to be a prominent NFL player before pursuing a career in pro wrestling. When he was afflicted with leukaemia in 2007, his ambitions were ended prematurely. He subsequently joined WWE and rose to the status of a megastar. If it hadn’t been for his battle with cancer, the Tribal Chief believes he would have had a good football career and would not have entered the sport of wrestling.
Roman Reigns was recently asked who he thinks is the greatest of all time during an interview on The Michael Kay Show. The Tribal Chief responded by acknowledging himself as the greatest and claiming that he is already at that level. He said:
“To me, I’m not trying to get there, I believe I’m there. I believe I’m living in the day of The GOAT within my own performance. I’m just constantly pushing myself, and for many reasons, I feel like I’m surrounded by the greatest and me as a singles competitors, as the Universal Champion, as the top guy of WWE, the face of this billion-dollar company, I’m the greatest of all time,” said Reigns.
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will square off against WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. This will be the sixth Wrestlemania main event of the Head of the Table. Their high-stakes showdown is expected to be the biggest WrestleMania match in the event’s history.
