Rousey

Ronda Rousey is one of the most dominant professional wrestlers in the industry. She was signed by WWE after successive stints as a judoka and in the Mixed Martial Art. “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” was dominant in these fields as well and earned several “first-ever woman” accolades for herself.

Rousey was signed by WWE in 2018 and made her debut at Wrestlemania 34. That very year, she went on to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Rousey held on to the title for 231 days – second longest in the history of the company. While she has been a dominant Champion, this was the only title that she has held in her WWE stint.

Earlier this year, Ronda Rousey returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble. She eliminated Charlotte Flair to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match. With the win, Rousey now has a chance to add another title to her long list of accolades. She will be going after the Smackdown Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 38.

Back in 2018, Ronda Rousey was holding the Raw Women’s Championship. On the other brand, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were colliding for the Smackdown Women’s title. Asuka had a won a battle royal and got herself a ladder match against those two, for the title at WWE TLC.

When Flair and Lynch had their fingers on the title, Ronda Rousey walked out and pushed the ladder – sending the Man and the Queen down. This provided the perfect opportunity for Asuka to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion. While it might sound like just another Heel attack – but it led to one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches.
