Update on Sasha Banks’ health after being carried away from a live event

The Boss

Sasha Banks is considered to be on of the Four Horsewomen of WWE, with Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Bayley being the other three. Banks has been with the company since 2012, and has been one of the top performers ever since. In nearly a decade with the company, she has won the NXT Women’s Championship once, Smackdown Women’s Championship once and the Raw Women’s Championship five times.

For a major part of 2021, the Boss was a part of the Smackdown Women’s Championship scene. At the beginning of the year, she was the Champion – before losing it to Bianca Belair in the main event of Night One of Wrestlemania 37. This was the first time in the history of WWE that two African – American women faced each other in a main event.

After a break from the company, Sasha Banks was scheduled to face Bianca Belair for a title rematch at Summerslam. But she wasn’t cleared to fight and was replaced by Becky Lynch – who went on to win the title. Since then, the title has been with Charlotte Flair and it seems like Banks would be going after her.

On the recent WWE live event at Fayetteville, Banks was part of a match against Charlotte Flair. Shockingly, the match didn’t end the way the fans would’ve imagined. As soon as the match ended, the referee threw up the “X” sign indicating that something was wrong. In fact, she was carried out by the WWE personnel.

This certainly left the fans worried. But the former Women’s Champion took to Twitter to thank the fans for their concern and clarify that all was well. “I’m good. Thank you for the love always” – tweeted Banks.

Since the last several weeks, Sasha Banks has been performing against the Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at the live events. This is a normal practice in the company, that the Superstars who are scheduled to feud on TV, have matches at the live events. Hence, we might soon see Banks going after the Smackdown Women’s title.

For the last few weeks, Charlotte Flair was involved in a feud against Toni Storm. But it concluded on the Christmas episode of Smackdown – post which Storm’s request for release was accepted by the company. Flair has no active feud currently, which perfectly sets up the introduction of Banks to the storyline.
