This week’s SmackDown is going to be a must-see. The show is set to be the season premiere episode on the USA Network, and fans are expecting some bangers. One of the anticipated questions from the show was whether Roman Reigns was going to show up or not. It seems like WWE has finally answered this question with their latest promotional graphic for the show.
WWE has been promoting the show on their social media platforms with a poster featuring several top stars, including Roman Reigns. It can be expected that WWE featuring The Tribal Chief as the frontrunner on the advert seemingly confirms that he is showing up on the season premiere of SmackDown this week in Seattle.
Obviously, cards are always subject to changes. Although there are high chances for the return of the Needle Mover, there have been times when the card is completely different than the advertised one. The last televised appearance of the Head of the Table was a few weeks ago, when he was brutally destroyed by the crooked Bloodline.
Solo Sikoa is set to face Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship in a Steel Cage match this week. Considering the events of the past, it is highly likely the OTC makes some sort of interference in this match to cost the Tribal Heir. There are also rumors of the return of Jimmy Uso, who is expected to join forces with Reigns to reform the original Bloodline.
Rikishi opined on who should be Roman Reigns’ next opponent from the new Bloodline
Ever since Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam this year, there has been a lot of buzz around his next opponent. Whether it is regarding his first opponent after his return or his opponent for WrestleMania, there have been several questions. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi opined about these questions in his podcast.

Speaking on Off The Top podcast, the 58-year-old said that both Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu can be tough opponents for the Tribal Chief. He added that Sikoa is already an established star, while Fatu is looking to make an impact.
Either way, whether he goes with Jacob, that’ll be good; whether he goes with Solo, we all know that’s going to be good, but I feel that Jacob has momentum right now. Solo is a made guy already.Rikishi via Off The Top
However, throwing the Samoan Werewolf against the Head of the Table so early would feel rushed. Therefore, the former Enforcer is the correct choice.
There have been a lot of talks of WWE moving away from the plans of The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. It is possible that WWE is instead planning Reigns vs. Sikoa/Fatu for the Grandest Stage of Them All next year. Only time will tell how the path of the Needle Mover is going to be crafted from here on.
