“There’s nobody better than me” Seth Rollins on being added to the main event of Wrestlemania 38

The Visionary Seth Rollins sat down in an interview and spoke about the odds of being added to the main event of Wrestlemania 38

Seth Rollins spoke with Radio Row about his most recent WWE Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Seth Rollins made his arrival for the bout wearing old attire from The Shield, the faction in which he, Roman Reigns, and AEW star Jon Moxley once competed. Rollins explained why he chose to wear the outfit for this match.

Rollins said, “It was something that was on my mind.”Obviously, if you’re going to do a storyline with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, you’ve got to know the Shield’s history, right?” It would have been a disservice to our fans if we hadn’t mentioned it. The more we talked about it, the more I understood it was bothering Roman. You know, there was a part of him that he hadn’t dealt with completely. It was something in there, some unrequited regret, something he hadn’t truly addressed.

“And the more I played with him, the more likely it seemed that anything would get inside his skull.” Because, after all, he is a fantastic athlete. When it comes to size and strength, he has a lot of advantages, but when it comes to the mental game of what we do, no one beats me. So it wasn’t quite a last-minute decision, but it was close. St. Louis is fortunate in that it is near to home, and I had some backup on the way.”

Are we seeing a triple threat Wrestlemania main event once again?

Seth Rollins eventually disqualified Reigns, allowing Reigns to retain the championship and setting him up for a showdown with rival and Royal Rumble winner Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Rollins didn’t rule out the potential of inserting himself into Lesnar and Reigns’ WrestleMania 31 match when he cashed in Money in the Bank to win the WWE Championship.

“Who’s to say I couldn’t do it again?” Rollins said, referring to his previous appearance in a Brock/Roman match at WrestleMania. “However, who knows? At this time, we’re around seven or eight weeks away from WrestleMania, so anything could happen between now and then.”
