WWE Smackdown Results – 13/11/2020 (Drew McIntyre appears, Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio)


The show kicks off WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns making his way to the ring with Paul Heyman. He poses with the huge pyrotechnics display.
Universal Champion Roman Reigns

Paul Heyman says this place should be called the Island of Relevancy. Reigns is making everybody relevant. Reigns agrees. The Champion points out that earlier the fans would get confused between the Uso twins. But since Jey has associated himself with Reigns, he has become relevant. Reigns announces Jey will lead Team Smackdown at Survivor Series. He also announces he will be beating the secondary Champion, Randy Orton.
Drew McIntyre’s music hits. The Superstar from WWE Raw walks in. He says that Reigns will be facing him at the Survivor Series. McIntyre will be facing Randy Orton for the WWE Championship on Raw. Drew recalls it has been long since he and Reigns were in a ring together. McIntyre had eliminated Reigns to win the Royal Rumble. While Reigns went on a break after that, McIntyre went on to win the WWE Championship. Reigns was the top guy, McIntyre is.
Reigns agrees. But Reigns mentions that since he has returned no one cares about McIntyre. Reigns and Heyman mention that no one watches Raw. Jey Uso walks in. He says McIntyre is being really disrespectful on their show. Uso challenges McIntyre for a match.
Sami Zayn def. Apollo Crews (retains Intercontinental Championship)

Sami Zayn is complaining before the match that he got only an hour’s notice for the match. This is sabotage by WWE. But Zayn doesn’t mind. This is his chance to prove to the US Champion Bobby Lashley that his Championship is much more valued than Lashley’s.
As the match begins, there is some serious back and forth action going on. The action continues outside the ring. Zayn drives Crews into the steel support of the ring. He tangles Crews’ leg into the ring apron and enters the ring to win via count out. Zayn retains his Intercontinental Championship.
Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks

Banks mentions that haters said that she could win but could not retain. But she is still the Women’s Champion. She is on top of the Women’s locker room. She knows Carmella is watching. Bayley’s music hits. She comes out shouting. Carmella is behind Banks. She hits a sit-out facebuster to Banks.
Otis def. Dolph Ziggler

Before the match, Otis is eating wildly. Ziggler comes in and taunts Otis on losing his bestfriend Tucker as well as his Money in the Bank contract. Otis shouts and flips the table. As the match begins, Ziggler slaps Otis. Then Otis starts his domination. He hits a scoopslam, followed by a Caterpillar Elbow Drop. He then hits a Vader Bomb for the win.
Rey Mysterio def. Seth Rollins (No Holds Barred Match)

The match begins with a stare-off between the two. This match will also be appreciated for the tributr the two wrestlers paid to Eddie Guerrero. Rollins sets up a table in the middle of the ring and starts up The Three Amigos. At one point, Rollins is down when Murphy helps him up. Aalyah is shocked. But then Murphy hits a high knee to Rollins’ face. Aalyah is overjoyed as Rollins shouts at him. Mysterio hits a 619. Mysterio goes to the top rope, does the Guerrero shake and hits a frog splash for the win.
Rey Mysterio also gives his approval to Murphy and shakes his hand. The Mysterios embrace Murphy as they celebrate. Rollins goes to Adam Pearce and demands a match against Murphy.
Liv Morgan def. Natalya, Chelsea Green and Tamina (Fatal 4-Way match, Qualifies for Team Smackdown, Survivor Series)

Three wrestlers attack Tamina, but she fights them all off. Natalya and Green pull Tamina outside the ring and send her into the barricades. Morgan hits a facebuster on Natalya, followed by a facebuster on Tamina for the win. Liv Morgan joins Bianca Belair and Ruby Riott on Team Smackdown for the Survivor Series.
Drew McIntyre def. Jey Uso

Backstage Reigns is angry with Uso for challenging McIntyre for a match. Reigns runs the show. No one interferes in Reigns’ business. Uso says he wil handle it. WWE official Adam Pearce also mentions to McIntyre that since he is a Raw Superstar, this match cannot be sanctioned. As the match begins both the wrestlers hit a series of attacks and equally impressive counter-attacks.
Universal Champion Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring side. Uso uses the distraction to push McIntyre into the barricades and the steel steps. Uso says he can beat McIntyre. Reigns pulls him outside the ring. Reigns says he doesn’t care about the win. Uso gets in the ring, and is hit by a Claymore Kick. McIntyre picks up the win and stares at Reigns.
Reigns looks at his Championship and says McIntyre to get himself one too, as the show comes to an end.
