The Red cage for Hell in a Cell is hanging above the ring. The PPV airs live on 25th October, 2020. The show kicks of with the Kevin Owens Show.

Owens mentions that this is first show after being drafted to WWE Smackdown. He introduces his guest as a 4-time WWE Champion, and one of the most technically skilled WWE wrestler and the leader of Yes movement, Daniel Bryan.

Bryan had mentioned in the previous Smackdown episode that he looks forward to competing some of the best names in the business like Kevin Owens, Owens thanks him for that. They also acknowledge the fresh upcoming talent like Big E and the Usos.

Daniel Bryan discusses that the Blue brand can grow when Championships, especially like the Intercontinental Championship is defended every week. Owens acknowledges his idea, but says that he wants to discuss the Tag Team Championship. KO has never been a Tag Team Champion, and pitches a team-up idea to Bryan, with the name Hell KO.

Ziggler and Roode walk in. They say that they are the greatest Tag team on the WWE roster. The Street Profits walk in. They reming Ziggler and Roode, what they did last week. Nakamura and Cesaro interrupt. Bryan asks Owens to test how good they are as a team. A brawl breaks out. Adam Pearce comes out and makes it an official match.

It was a really fun tag match, with Bryan and The Street Profits standing out in particular. Cesaro had rolled up Dawkins almost for the win, but the refree noticed his feet on the ropes. They missed an opportunity to win. Dawkins capitalized and hit a spine buster. He tagged in Ford, who hit a frog splash, followed by a roll-up for the win.

Owens, Bryan and The Street Profits are celebrating backstage when Sami Zayn walks up to them. Zayn is the current Intercontinental Champion. He clarfies that his vision is different from Bryan’s. as long as he is the Champion, he’ll be doing things his way.

Law and Otis

We are in a courtroom with Otis, MITB briefcase, Miz and Morrison. Ron Simmons welcomes the Judge, Bradshaw Layfield. The Miz has sued Otis. He says the defendant has victimized him physically and emotionally. Otis is an incapable MITB winner, says Miz. He says he wants the briefcase. Otis’s defense is just that he deserves the briefcase because he won it.    

In a later part of the segment, Morrison too raises his concerns against Otis. Rey Mysterio is on the stands. He says as a participant of the MITB match, he feels that Otis has the right to keep the briefcase and cash in the contract anytime he wants. Asuka comes to the stand, and shouts in Japanese. Teddy Long says that he got that. She replies with holla, holla, holla.

JBL says that Otis might have caused destruction to the property and emotional disturbance, but that is the job description of a WWE wrestler. Even if he chooses to not cash in the contract, it is his decision for the whole year. The Miz interrupts him and says a key piece of evidence is left to be presented. He hands a black briefcase to JBL. Its cash in the briefcase. JBL orders, Miz will face Otis at Hell in a Cell and the winner gets to keep the contract.

Bianca completely dominated Vega throughout the match. As the match begins, Vega climbs up the the top rope but is thrown off. She goes for an arm-bar but is again thrown on the mat. Belair hits a standing moonsault. After hitting a KOD, she rolls-up Vega for the win. Belair is being built up better than any other woman on any of the WWE roster, in the recent past.

Lars Sullivan def. Shorty G

Kayla asks Shorty G before the match that would he accept a match against Sullivan. He says he is going to prove his worth to WWE. The match begins and Shorty G takes the aerial route, Sullivan catches him mid-air and slams him onto the mat. Sullivan throws him across the ring, followed by a Clothesline and a Freak Accident for the win.

Shorty G says he quits.

Backstage, Adam Pearce asks him if he is really quitting. G says he is quitting being Shorty G. He is an Olympian, State, National and World Champion. His name is Gable. Chad Gable.

Contract signing fallout – Bayley and Sasha Banks

Last week, at the Smackdown Women’s Championship contract signing, Bayley did not sign the contract. Her participation in the Hell in a Cell match isnt official yet. Bayley is in the ring and announces that she isnt afraid of Banks. Sasha Banks, comes out with a contract. They get in the ring and argue. Bayley grabs a steel chair and tries to hit, but Banks ducks. Banks grabs the title and asks Bayley to sign the contract. Bayley signs. Sasha returns the title with the promise to get it back on Sunday.  

Seth Rollins def. Murphy

Both the wrestlers looked really strong in the match, especially Murphy. Burung the match we see Aaliyah Mysterio is backstage, looking concerned for Buddy. Rollins hit a stop to win via pinfall.

After the match, Rollins grabs a kendo stick. Backstage Aaliyah is requesting Rey and Dominik Mysterio to help Murphy, but hey refuse. Rollins attacks Murphy with the stick. Aaliyah enters the ring and tries to protect Murphy. Dominik runs down, as Seth leaves the ring. Seth attacks Dominik from behind, as Rey comes out with a steel chair.

Roman Reigns reveals consequences

While Reigns and Paul Heyman are out in the ring, Jey Uso with his face covered is shown in Reigns’ office. It is revealed its actually Jimmy Uso, as Jey attacks Reigns from behind. Reigns is down after a Super kick. The Uso twins celebrate. 

Roman says when he makes him quit, he will take orders and respect him in the WWE and all that he does for their family. And if he can’t, then they’re both out. Their wives, their children, their children’s children are all out of the family. The Hell in a Cell comes down, with Reigns and Heyman inside. Jimmy climbs the Hell in a Cell as he stares down onto Roman.
