Former WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy shows up on AEW Dynamite

Jeff Hardy was sacked by WWE in early December after he allegedly turned down the company’s proposal to go to rehabilitation. This followed an incident on December 4 at a WWE live event in Edinburg, Texas, in which Hardy vanished into the audience during a six-man tag team bout. Jeff was pulled off the road and later released after the unusual occurrence.
But it now looks like one half of the Hardy Boyz has finally joined the other half i.e. Matt Hardy.

To begin the segment, Matt Hardy and the Hardy Family Office were congregated in the ring, and Matt was apologising to the Hardy Family Office for feeling like he morphed into an a**hole when he put on the outfit. Andrade El Idolo then declared that he desired to be the group’s leader and that they should vote on it.
Matt was turned on by Andrade, Private Party, and the other HFO stars, who beat him down in the centre of the ring. Andrade seized a chair and prepared to use it on Matt as the beating continued. Darby Allin and Sting appeared from the entrance ramp and rushed over to Matt Hardy’s aid.

Because the hastily constituted HFO still had too many men, they were able to gain an advantage over Darby and Sting. That’s when the Hardy Boyz’ distinctive music started playing, and Jeff Hardy dashed down to the ring to save the day. Jeff and Matt had a long staredown with Sting and Darby Allin after securing the rescue and hitting his iconic Swanton Bomb finisher.

Hardy was reportedly called by WWE Talent Relations chief John Laurinaitis in the weeks afterward to discuss the possibility of luring him back, and was also given a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022. Hardy turned down the offer and requested his drug test results from when he was discharged in December, claiming he didn’t anticipate to test positive for any recreational drugs. The findings took six weeks to arrive for Hardy and his wife Beth, but when they did, Jeff had cleared his drug test and breathalyser.
