The Undisputed UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards made a visit to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff this past Saturday evening for WWE Clash at the Castle. It was a memorable show with some emotion filled studded moments all way along. One of the most shocking events of the night was the heel turn of Dominik Mysterio who low blowed Edge and clotheslined his own father Rey.
Although the betrayal received a massive crowd pop, we never saw that coming especially the kind of character WWE was working on for young Dominik. Fans have rejuvenated their hope once again for the young gun and have been eyeing for a more vicious and expressive side of the 22 year old.
The show was filled with some big time bangers including the Intercontinental Championship hard-hitting slugfest between Gunther and Sheamus who literally beat the hell outta each other for 20 straight minutes without breathing a sigh of relief. It was the Ring General at the end who got the better of the Celtic Warrior and retained his gold.
Another match that included personal grudges at an all-time high saw Matt Riddle go up against Seth Rollins in what was a masterpiece from top to bottom. Rollins curb stomped Riddle from the second rope to the canvas picking up a much-needed win against the Original Bro.
We all know what happened in the main-event as Drew McIntyre came inches closer on scripting history against Roman Reigns but thanks to Solo Sikoa for saving his cousin’s precious belongings. Reigns also had a slight stare down with Tyson Fury but they eventually shook hands.

One of the biggest guests for the night was Leon Edwards who seemed to enjoy the event to it’s extremity by engaging with various WWE Superstars including Roman Reigns, Liv Morgan, WWE Creative Head Triple H, The Undertaker and The Gypsy King Tyson Fury himself. Leon Edwards was the talk of the town a few weeks back when he knocked out Kamaru Usman at the penultimate minute of the final and 5th round of their bout to shock the 18,000 fans at the Vivint Arena and getting crowned as the new UFC Welterweight Champ. Usman later described his loss saying Edwards gave him a 20 minute nap.
