“I just wanted to hurt her as much as I possibly could,” Becky Lynch reacts to her brutal bout at WWE Survivor Series 2021
Lynch and Flair
Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, two of the biggest Superstars on the WWE roster collided in one of the best matches of WWE Survivor Series. The two Superstars battled each other in a Champion vs Champion match. But the Smackdown and the Raw Women’s Champions tore the house down, but it wasn’t just for the brand supremacy.
The two Champions have a long history together. They were former best friends but things turned sour between them. They had some real-life heat between them, and it led to an awkward title exchange segment between the two. But this got the fans real excited for their match at Survivor Series.
Lynch and Flair delivered a wonderful bout. Lynch ended up winning the match after using the ropes for leverage. The referee didn’t notice the discrepancy and handed The Man the win. After the match, Flair simply smiled and left. Moments after the match, Ariel Helwani caught up with the Raw Women’s Champion and discussed her thoughts on the match.
“Before we went out, I got really emotional because of the journey that we went through. We were best of friends and we’ve been through everything together. When I went out there, I wanted to rip her head off. I just wanted to hurt her as much as I possibly could and that’s a lot of emotion because I just wanted to hurt who I used to be so close to,” mentioned Becky Lynch.
Seemingly, the feud between both the Champions has concluded and Lynch strongly feels that she has proven to everyone that she is better. “It didn’t really hit until tonight that how sad that is. We went out there and killed each other. We hit each other as hard as we could. I told her that I am the better person and she kind of accepted. There is no denying it now.”
“Unless she wants to try again. I don’t know how many times I need to prove to her that I’m the better woman,” responded the Raw Women’s Champion, when asked about the possibility of Flair challenging her again.
Becky Lynch will now feud against Liv Morgan
The Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been only feuding against Bianca Belair since returning to WWE at Summerslam. Finally, a new challenger has emerged for Lynch, and Liv Morgan is getting a much-deserved push.
Morgan emerged victorious in a Fatal 5-Way match to earn a shot at the title. Despite becoming the No.1 Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship, the feud between Morgan and Lynch was put on hold due to Survivor Series. But with now Survivor Series in the cards, the focus would moved back to this new rivalry.
