BREAKING: The Undertaker set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

Taker
The Undertaker is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He performed for WWE (earlier known as WWF) for three long decades. Taker was signed by the company way back in 1990 and his final performance came at Wrestlemania 36 in 2020. But he continues to be employed by the company – through a 15-year contract which he signed in 2019.
Popular for his “Deadman” gimmick, there has been no other professional wrestler who has played a supernatural character as good as him. While his performance was legendary, but so has been his prowess as an in-ring performer. He is a 4-time WWF/WWE Champion, 3-time World Heavyweight Championship and a multi-time Tag Team Champion.
But if there is one thing that The Undertaker is most memorable for, is his undefeated Wrestlemania streak. It was one of the biggest records in the industry. He had won 21 Wrestlemania matches and had an unblemished record before he was pinned by the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. Eventually, he ended up losing another Mania match against Roman Reigns.
At Survivor Series 2020, The Undertaker officially announced his retirement. The event involved Taker coming out in his traditional gear and gave an emotional farewell speech in the presence of his friends. It was also his thirty years since his debut – where he bid adieu to his character with a ten-bell salute.
There can never be another Undertaker. His contributions to the business is unmatched. WWE has decided to honor him with induction into the Hall of Fame. The company announced that Taker will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2022. He is the first inductee of this year and the event is scheduled to take place during the Wrestlemania week.
The Undertaker was last seen in action at Wrestlemania 36

A night after Elimination Chamber 2020, AJ Styles challenged The Undertaker to a match at Wrestlemania 36. In the build up to this match – Taker briefly brought back his “American Bada**” persona. In a highly personal feud, Styles called him out with his real name, Mark Calaway.
While the feud had strong storytelling, so did their match. They battled in a cinematic match, which ended with Taker burying Styles in a grave! This was the last time Taker was seen in action by the fans. Post this, he appeared for his farewell at Survivor Series. Sadly, both these appearances were without any live crowd and stole the thunderous farewell that he deserved.
