Cody Rhodes is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes. He embraced his father’s legacy and left an unerasable mark on WWE. From his debut in 2007 to his departure in 2016 and later his comeback in 2022, Rhodes delivered some of the most memorable moments in WWE history. WWE fans were highly excited to see Rhodes return to WWE with his American Nightmare gimmick.
Due to some personal issues with the company, Cody Rhodes left WWE in 2016 and reinvented himself in different wrestling promotions, like Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling. His time in these promotions went great, as he won multiple titles in these federations. He wrestled top-tier superstars like Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, and many other great performers. #5 Battle of the Rhodes
One of the most iconic moments of Cody’s career came in 2013 when he was embroiled in a feud with his real-life brother, Goldust. The two faced off in a match at Battleground, with their father, the legendary Dusty Rhodes, in their corner. The brothers fought hard and later solidified their position on top.
#4 Hell In A Cell Match
After his iconic WrestleMania 38 return and winning his match against The Visionary Seth Rollins, his popularity quickly boosted. Even after suffering from a torn pectoral muscle, he managed to defeat Rollins once again. He defeated the Kingslayer three times in a row. Their Hell in a Cell match was awarded the best of the year. This moment changed Cody’s career, and he became the biggest babyface in the company.

#3 Winning the Intercontinental Championship
Cody Rhodes defeated Ezekiel Jackson in 2011, to win the Intercontinental Championship. This victory marked Rhodes’ first Intercontinental Championship reign and cemented his status as a rising star in WWE. Rhodes had been pursuing the Intercontinental Championship for months, and his victory over Jackson came after a grueling match that showcased both men’s in-ring skills. The win also established Rhodes as a future main-event player and a force to be reckoned with in WWE.
#2 Main Eventing WrestleMania 39
After winning the WWE Royal Rumble 2023, he set his eyes on the WWE Championship, which was laid on the shoulders of Roman Reigns. Before the event, he had multiple altercations with The Bloodline. His long dream of main eventing WrestleMania came true. This was one of the biggest moments of his career.

One of the best moments of his career came at Royal Rumble 2023. Heading inside the Rumble, entering at number 30, he won the match after eliminating Gunther. The match was very exciting, as many great performances were seen inside the ring. Moreover, in total, he eliminated five wrestlers, including Braun Strowman, Austin Theory, Dominik Mysterio, Logan Paul, and Gunther.
