WWE Tribute to the Troops concluded recently, after delivering three massive matches. Top Champions Big E and Roman Reigns were in action in the opening and the final match, respectively. Two of the consistently rising Superstars from Raw – Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan, participated in the second match of the night.
WWE Tribute to the Troops is the most patriotic night on the WWE calendar. The company aims to pay a tribute, and at the same time entertain the United States Armed Forces members. While the matches taking place on the card, did not have much impact on the ongoing storylines, it did give a chance for the live audience to see top stars of the company in action.
The EST of WWE Bianca Belair took on the No.1 Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship Liv Morgan. Belair emerged victorious in the hard-hitting, quick-paced match. While both the Superstars came out looking strong in the match, a win could’ve helped Morgan more.
After the match, the EST of WWE took to Twitter to share her love for Liv Morgan. “Tribute to Troops. Liv Morgan Always rooting for you” – tweeted Bianca Belair.
Liv Morgan might lose momentum due to her loss at WWE Tribute to the Troops
Liv Morgan is the No. 1 Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship. She defeated Bianca Belair, Carmella, Zelina Vega and Rhea Ripley in a Fatal 5-Way match, to become the rightful challenger to Becky Lynch. Considering she will be kicking off a feud against Lynch, Morgan should’ve won against Belair.
But WWE decided to go ahead with a win for Bianca Belair, which might suggest that the company is still keen on pushing the EST of WWE further. This might even be a hint that Belair can go on to win the WWE Survivor Series match for her team.
