Vince McMahon had a big hand in recent NXT releases

Now, Dave Meltzer has reported that NXT executives, Triple H and Shawn Michaels had nothing to do with the recent releases from NXT. Instead the releases were made by Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Bruce Prichard. He also said that the three felt those superstars are ‘Too Small and Old’.

Here’s what he quoted:

“Paul Levesque and Shawn Michaels didn’t have anything to do with the cuts. It was done by Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis. The basic gist is that NXT is gonna change in some ways and they think that a lot of the competitors are too small and too old.”
