The WWE Universe noticed strange cryptic signs during the telecast of SmackDown. It could hint towards a potential return of a WWE Superstar after a long time. Fans have already started to make assumptions and speculate about who it could be. All the signs hinted towards the return of Uncle Howdy and Alexa Bliss. 

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven went against Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. However, during the match itself, there was a significant glitch on the screen that said, “You forgot about us.” Most fans figured out that it could be meant for Alexa Bliss and Uncle Howdy.

Uncle Howdy made his last appearance in WWE when he confronted Bobby Lashley on the March 4 episode of SmackDown. However, due to Bray Wyatt’s illness, they both were taken off of TV. Although in August it was reported that Wyatt may return due to a positive recovery, his sudden demise halted all the plans. 

Meanwhile, Bliss was often involved in backstage segments and some moments during her matches with both Wyatt and Uncle Howdy. She wrestled in her last match at the 2023 Royal Rumble and lost to Belair. The Goddess then announced she was expecting a baby and has been out of action since then. It will be interesting to see their return, as Wyatt’s last segment of his documentary hinted toward Uncle Howdy’s return. 

Fans make their speculations about the cryptic signs that were seen during SmackDown on social media

As soon as the WWE Universe noticed the cryptic signs on their screens, they wasted no time discussing who they could be. Many fans had different opinions; some thought it was meant for Uncle Howdy and Little Miss Bliss, while others felt like it was meant for someone else.

One fan said he liked this type of hint, and he was enjoying the ‘spooky wrestling’, no matter for whom they meant it. Another fan was sure that these hints were made for the terrifying duo. Here are some of the top reactions from fans: 

Some fans had different prospects in mind, as they said The Witches, Alba Fyre, and Isla Dawn could make their presence felt. Others joked about how it could be a return of the heel faction Retribution, which was disbanded after a year due to fans’ negative responses. Overall, the WWE Universe was quite excited about the possible return of two of the most interesting characters.
