Despite becoming a tag team champion with The Miz, R-Truth has continued with his ridiculous antics. The latest victim of his ‘confused’ persona was CCO Triple H himself, who presented the veterans with brand new tag titles on Raw. During the segment, the 52-year-old legend confused The Game with one-half of #DIY, Tommaso Ciampa.

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Triple H invited the Raw Tag Team Champions, Awesome Truth, for a special ceremony. He introduced a new design of the belts and officially announced that they would now be called the World Tag Team Champions. However, R-Truth, as always, confused him with Tommaso Ciampa, telling the CCO he couldn’t fool him.

Over the past few weeks, R-Truth has been confusing Tommaso Ciampa as Triple H and his tag team partner, Johnny Gargano, as Shawn Michaels. He is well-known for these types of mishaps, as he recently entered the Women’s Royal Rumble and misunderstood the six-pack ladder match as the tag team match at WrestleMania XL.

At the Showcase of Immortals, Truth finally won a major title after five years. The last time he held a major championship was when he defeated Rusev to capture the United States Championship. Now, the new World Tag Team Champions are ready for a new challenge, as #DIY received a title shot by defeating The Creed Brothers and The New Day. It will be interesting to see how The Awesome Truth’s title run pans out. 

Fans couldn’t control their laughter after R-Truth mistakes Triple H for Tommaso Ciampa

R-Truth’s shenanigans continued on Raw. The veteran’s antics almost led to Triple H breaking character on television. Following the hilarious segment, the WWE Universe could do nothing but pour in their reactions to the sequence on social media.
