Cora Jade shares heartbreaking news (via WWE)
A few hours ago, Cora Jade took to her X account to reveal that her mini poodle, Stitch, ran away from home. Jade asked for help from fans online, telling them to DM her if they found any valuable info. A couple of hours later, Jade shared a second update. The 23-year-old WWE wrestler sadly disclosed that Stitch passed away after being hit by a car.
Jade added that the reckless driver not only hit Stitch but also sped past as if nothing had occurred. Furthermore, Jade thanked the person who found and took care of him in his final moments. According to her initial tweet, Stitch was only three years old before his tragic death. Jade often shared pictures alongside her mini poodle on her social media accounts.
The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion recently returned to WWE programming. Earlier this year, Jade suffered a massive setback after sustaining a torn ACL. On the CW premiere episode of NXT, Jade made her presence known during the Women’s Title bout. The Chicagoan helped her frenemy, Roxanne Perez, defeat Giulia and retain her championship.
Despite their past differences, the duo formed an alliance to take down the new signing. However, the latter found a new ally in Stephanie Vaquer, who debuted in the following week’s episode. After Vaquer emerged victorious in her in-ring debut, Jade and Perez launched a 2-on-1 attack on her.
Giulia soon came out to help her friend and even the odds. Vaquer then challenged the former tag champs to a match at the upcoming Halloween Havoc PLE, which they accepted.

As expected, wrestling fans sent their condolences to Cora Jade after she shared the heartbreaking news. Many were saddened by Stitch’s passing, including TNA Knockout’s Champion, Jordynne Grace. The latter sympathized with the 23-year-old wrestler.
A few fans lambasted the driver who hit Stitch and didn’t stop to check on him. A user explained how they encountered a similar incident while taking care of their stray cat. Meanwhile, another fan demanded justice for Stitch and hoped that authorities would catch the culprit.
