REVEALED: When will Lacey Evans return to WWE?

Evans

Lacey Evans is a professional wrestler who has been with WWE since 2016. Interestingly, before she was signed by the company Evans was still serving as a military police officer in the Marines. Initially she performed on the independent circuit, before being singed by WWE – where she performed on NXT for a couple of years.

Evans was moved to the main roster in 2019 and one of the most iconic feud of her WWE career came against the then-RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. This turned into a Mixed Tag Team match with Lynch teaming up with Seth Rollins and Evans teaming up with Happy Corbin (then known as Baron Corbin).

In 2021, Lacey Evans was involved in a feud with Charlotte Flair, which also involved “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. But during an episode of RAW, Evans suddenly announced her pregnancy and went on a maternity break in February 2021.

It has been over a year since Evans was seen on WWE television. But she still continues to be a part of the roster but is a free agent and isn’t assigned to a particular brand. A report on PWInsider.com recently mentioned the date the Sassy Southern Belle will be making her return!

Evans is confirmed to be in Milwaukee this week – from where the Smackdown episode will be airing! She had welcomed her second daughter last year and now looks all set to make her return to the ring. She will now be the third mother, who have returned to action recently – including Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.

Before Evans had announced her pregnancy, she was involved in a feud against Charlotte Flair. Ric Flair was also a part of this feud and had a creepy romantic angle with Evans. In fact, when Lacey Evans announced her pregnancy, many felt that it was part of a storyline – but it was soon confirmed that it was in fact true.

With Evans being scheduled to appear on this week’s Smackdown – she could resume a feud against Charlotte Flair. While this time, Ric Flair isn’t a part of the WWE roster anymore, instead they could feud for the Smackdown Women’s Championship!
