Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest Superstars on the WWE roster and delivered one of the best matches of the night at Wrestlemania Saturday. The Baddest Woman on the Planet returned to WWE to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match this year and had challenged Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship at the Showcase of Immortals.

Now traditionally, the winner of the Royal Rumble earns the right to main event Wrestlemania. In fact, throughout the feud, both the Superstars were constantly mentioning that how they will be main-eventing Wrestlemania for the second time in their respective careers. Flair as well as Rousey were a part of the first-ever Women’s Wrestlemania main event match back in 2019.

But the Smackdown Women’s Championship match was moved down the card, making it the co-event match. The No Holds Barred match between “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Kevin Owens closed the night. This led many to speculate that Ronda Rousey was quite upset with the change in the card – as a result of which, she also did not attend the Hall of Fame Class of 2022 Induction ceremony.

“I don’t know where these “reports” come from but it was an absolute honor to perform under Steve Austin at Wrestlemania in Texas-I wasn’t a hall of fame because I have a six month old baby I had to put to sleep early. People are literally creating drama out of thin air” – tweeted Ronda Rousey, clarifying that she missed the ceremony as she had to take care of her baby.

The rumors of Rousey’s dissent started emerging after The Baddest Woman on the Planet had emerged for an interview on The Ellen Show. “I’m gonna be in the main event for the second time. I was the part of the first main event with women and this is now the third. So, it’s becoming almost something that doesn’t need to be mentioned anymore, which is the goal,” Rousey had mentioned.

The entire feud between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey was all about both of them guaranteeing that they will make the other one tap out. While Flair is a 13-time WWE World Champion, Rousey has never tapped out in her entire career. Surprisingly, The Baddest Woman on the Planet did exactly what she had promised and made the Smackdown Women’s Champion tap out!

Unfortunately, she did not mange to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship. the referee was knocked out when Charlotte Flair was tapping out – hence he couldn’t call the match. Flair ended up retaining the title – ensuring that this feud is far from over.
