WWE Women’s Smackdown Championship on the line, next week on SmackDown

Bayley lost her WWE Women’s Smackdown Championship at Hell in a Cell. She lost the title to her former best friend, Sasha Banks. Banks was believed to have an advantage in the match, considering she had prior experience of wrestling inside the caged structure. It was Bayley’s debut inside the Hell.
Bayley did dominate Banks for most part of the match, but Banks emerged victorious. Now whether Bayley’s inexperience played a role in her loss isn’t clear, but Banks did win fair and square.
Fallout on Smackdown

On the first episode of Smackdown, post the Hell in a Cell PPV, Bayley came out to celebrate her win. She mentions that she has done exactly what she was saying. That is to beat Bayley, and become the Smackdown Women’s Champion. Banks recalls the time, when she and her best-friend Bayley had plans to take over WWE. They were Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion respectively. They also had the Tag-Team Championships. But just one loss made Bayley forget their friendship.
Bayley took a steel chair and attacked Banks. But Banks is thankful for it. She has now realized her own true potential.
Bayley interrupts Banks and walks out to the ring side. She points out that Banks might have won the title, but everyone knows that she doesn’t know how to retain them. Bayley challenges Banks for the title next week on Smackdown, and tells her to enjoy her short 13-day title reign. This will be Banks’ first title defense since her win at Hell in a Cell.
Sasha Banks is supposed to wrestle Raw Women’s Champion Asuka at Survivor Series. In case she loses the title, Bayley will replace her in the match. Survivor Series airs live on 22nd November, 2020.
