The most stupendous two night event in WWE history, WrestleMania 38 has already broken a lot of records and has already brought a lot of increase in the viewership of WWE, thanks to everyone who made the event possible. The 38th edition of the Grandest Stage of them All has defeated Super Bowl LVI in terms of social media metrics and now new records come out as well.

As per Diesel Labs, the most stupendous two night event in WWE history brought in nearly 20% increase in viewership of WWE on Peacock. Not only that but the company also grabbed more than 70% of the viewers for the first time who had not followed WrestleMania 37 with the consistency they did for Wrestlemania 38.

“There was a 18.9% increase in engagement from WrestleMania 37 to WrestleMania 38, topping the 11.5% increase from 2020 to 2021. 71.9% of the WrestleMania 38 audience were new engagers this year, never having engaged with WrestleMania 37 the previous year.” – Mike Johnson of PWInsider wrote

What made WrestleMania 38 one of the biggest shows in WWE history?

Wrestlemania 38, on its first day, brought out a lot of people and the WWE Universe in awe. The key reasons for the same were the likes of the two women’s championships, Cody Rhodes coming out as Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent, and most importantly, the 19 year long term of the WWE Hall of Famer, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

On the other hand, the second day of WrestleMania 37 saw a fantastic fatal 4- way women’s tag team championship match. If also included the in ring return to Vince McMahon followed by his former rival, Steve Austin, stunning him. The show was headlined by Roman Reigns who defeated Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE and the Universal championships.
