“We’re all different, sorry fam” Former Superstar Paige reacts to not being able to recover enough to return back to WWE

The former WWE Divas Champion hinted her return

Paige has stated that she wants to wrestle again, and WWE fans would love to see her return to the ring after being forced to step down in 2018 due to neck injuries. She has teased her in-ring return multiple times with the most recent one coming at the Royal Rumble match of 2022. But that hasn’t been the case so far.

Paige lately tweeted about desiring to return to the ring at some time, and fans have used Edge and Bryan Danielson’s comebacks as evidence that it can be possible. Other fans, on the other hand, are referring to those cases and criticising Paige for not falling into line and returning to WWE, and she has spoken to them to correct them.

Paige then tweeted to respond to those critics, writing “It’s wild that some people are like “well edge and Bryan came back you are just lazy” I’m inspired by them. I’m not lazy. My neck needs to recover. We are all built different. Sorry fam.” Her tweet can be seen below.

Owing to neck issues, both Edge and Danielson were compelled to retire from in-ring competition, and while they remained associated with WWE thereafter, they were unable to compete in the ring. Edge was cleared to wrestle again after a long hiatus, and he made his big comeback at the Royal Rumble.
Likewise, Danielson (previously Daniel Bryan) would take over as GM for a short time before getting cleared, and he’d return to active competition and the championship hunt before eventually leaving WWE to join All Elite Wrestling.

Paige has always been a fan favourite and would’ve had a legendary career if not for her injuries. She is the only woman to hold the NXT women’s championship as well as the WWE Diva’s Championship at the same time. It feels like it won’t be long until we see the Anti-Diva back in action, at least we can hope so.
