Jacob Fatu has made an astounding impact on the WWE Universe since his debut on the main roster. He has been an incredible in-ring worker and has a bright future ahead of him. He became a champion only in his third match in the company, and the fans could not be more impressed. Now, the company’s internal reaction to the 32-year-old has finally been revealed.
As per PWInsider, there are reports that WWE is highly thrilled with Fatu’s performances on WWE programming. One source within the company claimed that the former MLW World Heavyweight Champion brings a true element of danger to the ring.
It is now clear why WWE waited for so long before debuting the WWE Tag Team Champion, despite his being signed to the company for several months. Initially, the promotion was afraid that he would outshine Solo Sikoa, the leader of Bloodline 2.0.
Fatu has also been an integral part of the Samoan faction since his debut. He was an unstoppable force at Money in the Bank, helping his team secure the victory. Furthermore, his tag team matches alongside Tama Tonga on SmackDown have been breathtaking to watch. He also made a huge impact in the Bloodline Rules match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. Unfortunately, it appears that the 32-year-old may have been injured since the match.
Wrestling veteran Jim Cornette explains why Roman Reigns was kept away from Jacob Fatu at SummerSlam
Roman Reigns made his much-anticipated return at SummerSlam after a 4-month absence from WWE programming. Although he speared Solo Sikoa and had an intense staredown with Cody Rhodes, he did not have any interaction with the Samoan Werewolf.
Speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, the 62-year-old revealed why this happened. He explained that WWE was building him into an unstoppable force. If someone else like Roman Reigns were to take him out, it would destroy his ‘aura’ and not make him appear as invincible as he is supposed to be.
They couldn’t, with the push they’re giving him and the build they’re giving him, have somebody else take him out, that would destroy his aura of danger and potential invincibility.

Rather, WWE found a great compromise to take him out of the fight. He simply hurt himself while trying to inflict damage on someone else. He essentially took himself out and couldn’t interfere in the match anymore. Doing it this way, the promotion has created a mystery around what would happen when Jacob Fatu crosses paths with Reigns.
