Free Fire OB27 update is finally here and along with it, comes many new characters and changes. In this article we compare Xayne vs Chrono in Free Fire OB27 update. They are both good characters and very useful in games.
Free Fire has a host of characters that the players can use on the battlefields. These characters are all unique and have varied abilities. These abilities are what makes them strong on the battlefields. Xayne is a newly released character in the game and Chrono is has been the most popular since his release back in 2020.

Xayne
Ability: Xtreme Encounter
Her in-game description states her as an extreme athlete who likes to travel. Likewise, her ability is called Xtreme Encounter.

At initial level this ability provides players with 80 HP temporarily. Moreover, it increases damage by 40% to gloo walls and shields. This lasts for 10 seconds and has a cooldown of 150 seconds before it can be used again.
However, at max level this ability provides 100% increased damage to gloo walls and shields. The cooldown is also reduced to 100 seconds.
Chrono
Ability: Time Turner
Chrono is a very popular character and has an ability called the Time Turner. This ability received significant nerfs in the OB27 update. The nerfed ability has the following effects:
It creates a force field around the character that blocks 600 incoming damage from enemies. Earlier it used to provide movement speed boosts to the players and allies, those being 30% and 15% respectively. But now it only provides movement to the player and that too by only 15%.
The force field will only be up for 8 seconds now instead of 9 seconds and has a increased cooldown of 170 seconds.

Both the characters have great abilities and are certainly head-and-shoulders above some of the other characters. However, if compare Xayne vs Chrono in Free Fire, Xayne is stronger after the OB27 update.
Her ability too destroy gloo walls and shields is the most prominent because many situations involve the use of them. The increased damage ensures some crucial hits on the enemies. Moreover, the extra HP is just the cherry on the top for better sustain in the fights.
However, the reason for Chrono’s defeat is the OB27 nerfs. The movement speed decrease hurts him very badly as well as the very long cooldown of the ability.
