Xia Li was among the several superstars who were released from WWE, shocking a lot of wrestling fans. Saddened by her release, Kairi Sane got emotional and remembered the time she spent with her. In response, the 35-year-old sent her a wholesome message on social media. 

‘The Pirate Princess’ took to X and said that she couldn’t even believe the news of Xia Li‘s release from the company. Kairi Sane also stated that she saved her career because of her kind nature, before being consoled by the Chinese wrestler.

The Raw superstar shared a message thanking the WWE Universe and Triple H for giving her a chance to shine in WWE. Li stated that she was incredibly proud to be the first-ever Chinese superstar to wrestle for the Stamford-based company. The 35-year-old shared some memorable moments with her rivalry with then-NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in late 2023.

Not only Li, but also superstars like Jinder Mahal and Xyon Quinn were also released by WWE. Mahal got a huge push in 2017, when he defeated Randy Orton to become the WWE Champion. Unfortunately, his Indus Sher teammates Veer Mahan and Sanga also parted ways with WWE. Only time will tell whether there will be more releases shortly or not.

After hearing the news of Xia Li’s release, several WWE superstars sent heartwarming messages on social media. She had shared great moments with many female wrestlers, who didn’t forget to pay their tributes to her.

WWE veteran Natalya praised her by saying she could see an improvement in every passing match due to her hard work. She wished her best for her new adventures in hopes of continuing to move forward.
