When Zelina Vega made her debut on the main roster with Andrade, she was only his manager. Over the years, she has evolved into a remarkable wrestler. Her being the inaugural Queen of the Ring speaks to her talent and hard work. After witnessing the continuous support for her on social media, the 33-year-old star sent a wholesome message.

She took to social media and responded to a post where the hashtag ‘PushZelina’ was trending. Zelina Vega from the L.W.O. couldn’t contain her gratitude for her fans and thanked them for their relentless support. Vega stated that she had never expected to receive the kind of love the WWE Universe gave her. She vowed not to let any of them down and promised to keep pushing to accomplish big things in WWE.

Unfortunately, her career didn’t go the way she had dreamed it would. Apart from her win in the Queen of the Ring Tournament, Vega hasn’t been able to win any major titles in her career. Despite that, she has had many memorable moments, like her world title match against Rhea Ripley in Puerto Rico at Backlash last year. Although the 33-year-old star failed to win the title, she proved that she could hang with the best.

Recently, the L.W.O. member was involved in a title picture with Liv Morgan, which featured some exciting segments. Vega revealed that whatever was said by both sides was real because they were going with the flow, feeling the atmosphere of the crowd. Although she put up a tough fight, Morgan came out victorious. With Mami now back, it will be difficult for Vega to find a spot in the title picture.

Zelina Vega credited her husband Malakai Black for her improved in-ring performance

Zelina Vega had to improve her in-ring skill set to distance herself from the managerial role. She revealed that the biggest influence on her wrestling career has been her husband, AEW wrestler, Malakai Black. The 33-year-old star talked about how spending time with him and training with him took her career in a positive direction.

While speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Vega revealed that Black had a no-nonsense attitude while training. She stated that his straightforward approach helped her a lot in figuring out what she was good at and what she needed to improve. The L.W.O. member praised him further, saying he was great at breaking things down for her.

He's really good at breaking down every single thing, I need somebody who's going to be extremely raw with me and tell me, 'This is what you're doing right, this what you're doing wrong.' Having time with him has helped so so much.

Vega also gave deserved credit to her mentor and WWE Hall of Famer, Rey Mysterio. He taught her the fundamentals of his finishing move, the 619. The inaugural Queen of the Ring revealed that she didn’t want to use it more before perfectly mastering it.
