Zelina Vega frequently stays active on social media, regularly sharing posts to stay connected with her fans. Recently, she shared a wholesome post wishing her husband, Malakai Black, a happy birthday. The couple is currently working for different wrestling promotions.

The inaugural Queen of the Ring took to X and shared many pictures of them enjoying their time together. Zelina Vega wished him a happy birthday and expressed her immense love for him. Although she never got a chance to manage him on screen in WWE, their off-screen chemistry was so great, that they got married in 2018.

Malakai Black, formerly known as Aleister Black, had a decent run with the Stamford-based company. During his run on the NXT brand, he secured the top prize by defeating Andrade “Cien” Almas at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans in 2018. Interestingly, Vega was managing Andrade at the time, thus being on the opposite side of her loved one. After defending the title for over 100 days, he lost it to Tommaso Ciampa on the July 25 episode of NXT.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t replicate the success of his NXT run on the main roster, eventually getting released from WWE in 2021. As of now, he is wrestling in AEW as the leader of the House of Black and recently defeated the trio of Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston, and Mark Briscoe. Meanwhile, it’s still unclear when Vega will return to in-ring action.

Zelina Vega wasn’t too concerned about Carlito joining The Judgment Day

On the April 26 episode of SmackDown, Santos Escobar showed the CCTV footage to the WWE Universe and revealed that it was Carlito who attacked Dragon Lee. Now, after the brutal betrayal, he has been talking with the members of The Judgment Day, especially Dominik Mysterio. However, Zelina Vega doesn’t seem concerned about it.

While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, the 33-year-old was asked about his recent involvement with The Judgment Day. She expressed sadness for the fact that people had always taken advantage of Rey Mysterio‘s kindness. Vega stated that she should’ve gone with her gut feeling, as she didn’t feel good when Carlito joined the faction.

Two, three bums talking amongst themselves? That’s what I saw, that’s what I heard, and I’m not really worried about it. When it comes down to it, Carlito’s a bum.

Queen Zelina saw The Caribbean Cool’s meeting with the notorious faction as a bunch of ‘bums’ talking among themselves. She stated that she didn’t care about his potential alliance with Damian Priest and company at all. The 45-year-old star recently helped Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh win on Raw and become the No. 1 contenders for Awesome Truth’s titles.
