Zion Williamson was left stunned by fan

Zion Williamson led his in-form New Orleans Pelicans to a win over the Sacramento Kings, who fell short for the fifth time with a final score of 135-123 last night. However, one event appeared to take the spotlight away from the win when a spectator in the arena threw a chicken treat onto the Court.

This occurred as the game was coming to an end, with the Pelicans holding an 11-point lead. The act led the game to be abruptly stopped while the treat was taken care of by one of the arena’s staffers.

The treat landed close to Zion Williamson, who was once fat-shamed by controversial TV analyst Stephen A. Smith and, as a result, led to a series of propaganda on the internet whether the treat was aimed at continuing the nasty topic on his weight.

Williamson, who was reported to have lost weight, has been a different player since the turn of the year, leading the line aggressively for the Pelicans in their quest for the playoffs. The 23-year-old this season is averaging 23 PPG, 5.8 RPG, and 5.0 APG.

Zion Williamson and the Pelicans set a franchise record for road victories against the Sacramento Kings

The New Orleans Pelicans set a franchise record with their 27th away win of the season when they won against the Sacramento Kings. Zion Williamson ended the game with 31 points, four rebounds, and six assists, assisted by CJ McCollum, who had 31 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.

The win was the Pelicans’ third in a row, and there was an injury scare as Williamson went to the locker room late in the second quarter with an apparent left wrist injury; however, he returned to hit 23 points. They currently sit 6th in the Western Conference standings.

De’Aaron Fox scored 33 points for the Kings but it wasn’t enough to prevent their second loss in a row. Next for the Pelicans is an away game against the Golden State Warriors, while the Kings play at home against the Suns.
