With just days remaining for the event, here are five things that could possibly happen at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

The upcoming edition of Survivor Series: WarGames will mark the 38th annual PLE. Continuing the WarGames tradition for the third consecutive year, the men’s and women’s matches have left fans excited for the show. As such, the WWE Universe is anticipating a few surprises during the event.
The Bloodline civil war reaches its boiling point as the OG members and current iteration will battle inside the structure. Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan will lead their respective teams in a battle for supremacy. In addition to the WarGames matches, three titles are on the line at the event.
Gunther takes on Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. Furthermore, Bron Breakker defends his Intercontinental Title against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus. LA Knight faces Shinsuke Nakamura for the US Championship as well. Having said that, there are plenty of possible shocking moments in store for Survivor Series.
Shinsuke Nakamura pulls off major upset; beats LA Knight
A few weeks ago, Shinsuke Nakamura returned to WWE programming after almost six months of absence. The two-time NXT Champion targeted LA Knight on SmackDown, donning a new look and character. As it became apparent that he wanted the US Championship, WWE made the match official for Survivor Series. Although fans expect Knight to emerge victorious, Nakamura could defy the odds at the event.
Since winning the title at SummerSlam, The Megastar has faced almost everyone there is on the blue brand. With a depleted midcard roster, extending this reign would leave him with no credible contenders. Therefore, there are high chances that Nakamura could dethrone Knight and become a 3-time United States Champion.
Paul Heyman betrays Roman Reigns and allies with Solo Sikoa
On last week’s SmackDown, Paul Heyman returned to introduce CM Punk as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline team at Survivor Series. However, Heyman acted conspicuously by wearing a suit similar to Solo Sikoa‘s. This led to fans theorizing that Heyman was colluding with Sikoa behind Roman Reigns‘ back. After all, Heyman is known for turning on his clients.
In the past, the WWE Hall of Famer has betrayed Brock Lesnar and CM Punk. In fact, Heyman turned on them as soon as they turned face. Similar to that, The Wiseman could be preparing to say goodbye to his Tribal Chief and finally acknowledge Sikoa as the new Head of the Table. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see what plans Heyman has up his sleeve following his comeback.
Tiffany Stratton cashes in on Nia Jax during WarGames match
Since winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, Tiffany Stratton has attempted to cash in several times on her friend, Nia Jax. Each time, however, Jax somehow manages to stop Stratton. The duo will be a part of Liv Morgan’s team this coming Saturday inside WarGames. During the match, Stratton has the opportunity to do something that has never been done before.
Due to the brutal nature of the bout, Buff Barbie could take advantage by finally cashing in on a battered Jax. In what could be an innovative spot and swerve, Stratton can make history at Survivor Series. With the tensions at an all-time high between the pair, this would finally kick start a Women’s Title feud that WWE has been teasing for months.
Damian Priest becomes two-time World Heavyweight Champion
Another shocking title change that could occur at Survivor Series involves Damian Priest winning back the World Heavyweight Championship. Since becoming the #1 contender, Priest has gotten the better of Gunther each week on Raw. The Archer of Infamy has taken advantage of Gunther’s loss against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, mentioning that his opponent now lacks confidence.
At SummerSlam, Gunther needed help from Finn Balor to defeat Priest for the title. However, things could be different in their rematch. With The Ring General allegedly losing his ‘aura’, Priest can capitalize and dethrone him for the belt. Regardless, Gunther will need to bring his A game in this match, which will define his run as world champion in WWE.
The Rock returns to confront Roman Reigns
Despite returning at Bad Blood, The Rock hasn’t been mentioned since on WWE programming. Fans have been awaiting The Final Boss to reveal where his allegiances lie amid the ongoing Bloodline civil war. However, considering Roman Reigns’ decisions in the past few months, it might not be a difficult choice for Rocky to make.
Whether it be teaming with his rival Cody Rhodes or allowing CM Punk to partner with The Bloodline, The People’s Champion might believe that Reigns betrayed him. As such, he could return at Survivor Series to ally with Solo Sikoa’s faction and possibly kickoff the build to his eventual dream match with Reigns.
