However, it has been stated in GPblog that according to a poll on a British Formula1 website almost 82 percent of the fans believe that the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix result was not rigged against the 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. This has come as a surprise because after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix most of the outcry against the decision came from Britain.
At the end of the final race of the season, there was a lot of dissatisfaction among the Lewis Hamilton supporters as they thought the decisions that were taken during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix were taken in order to make sure Lewis does not win the title.
Since then a lot has been said by the interested parties on the subject matter and all the talking after the Grand Prix has somewhat tarnished the season as a whole.
Have Lewis Hamilton fans started losing faith in him?
The way the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ended led to a lot of uproars among the Lewis supporters as the fans made their opinions clear on social media. However as the dust has settled over time, it seems Lewis supporters have changed their stance on the subject matter.
As per the poll, most Britons believe that the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was not rigged against Lewis, and moreover, people were asked to give their opinion on another subject matter as the British website asked people to vote whether Lewis should continue in Formula1 for the 2022 season.
As per the poll results, 61 percent of the people who voted believe that Lewis should call it quits before the 2022 Formula1 season.
