8bit Thug BGMI Invitational Event is a two-day event conducted by S8UL eSports co-owner 8bit or Animesh Agarwal. The first day of the event concluded today and we have mentioned the overall standings after Day 1.
This is the 2nd Invitational Tournament conducted by 8bit Thug and first after the launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The tournament comes months after Krafton had allowed third party organizers to register their tournaments and get them verified by the officials of BGMI. Thug has played an active role in Indian gaming community, he has been keeping BGMI fans constantly updated about the new events and tournaments of the game.
8bit Thug BGMI Invitational Event took place from 5PM – 8PM today and it was live streamed on the official Loco channel of 8bit Thug. Here are the overall standings of Day 1 of the event.
8bit Thug BGMI Invitational Event: Day 1 results
Players had to compete over 3 maps in 8bit Thug BGMI Invitational Tournament. The first match began at 5:51 PM in Erangel, the second match was held in Sanhok at 6:00 PM followed by Miramar map which began at 6:45 PM. A total of 20 teams participated in the event and battled for a massive prize pool of 2 lakhs INR.

Team 8bit was the most successful team at this event as it bagged 3 back to back chicken dinners and finished with 98 points. Coming Soon stands at 2nd position scoring 34 points, they were closely followed by 7 Sea eSports who secured 31 points. There will be three more matches tomorrow with the same schedule where the winner team will walk away with a lion’s share of prize pool.
