Red Bull officially launched their RB19 in New York just a week ago. They not only unveiled their 2023 livery but also made a huge announcement of their partnership with Ford. Christian Horner, the RB Team Principal opened up about their car during the launch, he admitted that it was a show car and not the actual model. Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez and Daniel Riccardo were naturally the stars of the launch.
Red Bull have been very secretive about their new car. They took the track for the first time in 2023, without any prior information. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez tested the RB19 at Silverstone Circuit, the home of the British Grand Prix. They completed a filming day which was allowed as per the regulations. Although they posted a video of the RB19, the details of the design were kept hidden.
Max Verstappen, the reigning world champion was spotted in the teaser released by the team. He looked satisfied with the car’s performance. Verstappen mentioned during the car launch that 3 is his favourite number and as the driver has already won 2 championships consecutively, he is aiming for his third. The team as a whole is motivated and is back after a strong season.

Verstappen assured his fans in the teaser that everything worked well and smoothly and that the car gave a good impression. The Formula One fans had the best reactions to the short clip. Red Bull was the fastest team on the grid last season, and though Ferrari tried keeping up the race was lost long before the finish line. The 2023 season is the second year of the cars abiding and adjusting to the new regulations.
The 10 teams are said to make improvements after understanding their car last season. So far, Red Bull is very confident about their new car and Verstappen looks ready to fight for the title yet another year. Little do we know about the scenes that will occur in Bahrain during the season’s first race.
