Aaron Rodgers has been one of the best quarterbacks of this generation. Therefore, there was lots of chatter on social media when the Packers QB decided to go for a change in his career. Though nothing is official yet, it is believed that Rodgers is uncomfortable with the Packers and is looking for a change in scenery, with rumors of retirement also in the mix.
Rodgers is a veteran QB who still plays at the top of his game. The 39-year-old QB is better than most of the other players of the same position around and never fail to put on a show. Although, there are many who doubt his ability after the disappointing performance last season.
There are many teams currently in the race to acquire Rodgers’ signature. However, the New York Jets are a league apart and are looking as favorites to land the QB. The Jets haven’t won anything for decades and if Aaron Rodgers can help them win the title, then he’ll certainly be regarded as one of the greats of the game and not as a one-trick pony.
2. Aaron Rodgers can benefit from the great Jets roster
The New York Jets have maintained a good roster of talent that can really benefit the Packers QB in his pursuit of the next Super Bowl title. With talented players like Elijah Moore and Sauce Gardner, A-Rod can seriously cause damage in the respective division. The Jets are in need of a central figure in their offense and that can be provided by the experience Rodgers.
With Zach Wilson out of form, there is also a need for a mentor for a young QB. The veteran QB is well-versed in all the workings of the league and can help Wilson find his old form while winning some silverware with this great squad.

The Packers have also been frustrated with Rodgers’s attitude and demeanor. There’s no doubt that Rodgers is a controversial figure. However, his game on the field is exceptional and as fans have seen multiple times, arrogance fuels greatness and creativity.
