The New England Patriots Qb Bailey Zappe surprisingly had a decent start in the NFL. The QB was drafted in 2022 and was set to be on the sidelines for the entire season. A fall in form for QB Mac Jones led Zappe to get his much-deserved game time.

Zappe was proficient in the amount of game time he got and even challenged Jones for the starting place at one point. However, surprises aren’t ending for the rookie QB who just got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Hannah Lewis.

The 22-year-old QB shared the whole blissful incident on Instagram and congratulated his girlfriend-turned-fiancee with a witty caption as well. “Zappe Ever After?,” Bailey Zappe stated on his Instagram.

Zappe went down on one knee to propose to her girlfriend, and with good fortune, she said yes. The New England Patriots QB and Hannah Lewis have been high school sweethearts who’ve been dating for 6 years.

Hannah is a medical professional at Lewis Pain and Physical Medicine, a general medical clinic in Massachusetts. She is Zappe’s biggest supporter and was also seen in the Patriots-Browns game, where Zappe delivered an exceptional performance.

Bailey Zappe will challenge Mac Jones for the QB spot next season

Mac Jones has failed to perform in New England ever since being drafted by them. He was bought in as a replacement for the legendary Tom Brady after the QB retired and then moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, HC Bill Belichick recently announced that Jones will be the undisputed starter from the team irrespective of his form. Regardless, it won’t have any effect on Bailey Zappe as he will keep getting minimal game-time until he fully improves.

Zappe started two games with the Patriots and won both of them with a decent 70.7 passer rating. With the sudden drop in Mac Jones‘ form, the rookie QB will get another chance to impress next season and he will surely cherish when the time comes.

The Patriots were recently in the market for a new QB, indicating a drop in confidence for Mac Jones. This gives Bailey Zappe a chance to make the spot his own while usurping Jones of his starting spot. However, now the 22-year-old is enjoying the offseason with his fiancee Hannah Lewis.
